Want to review High Waisted Postnatal Support Pants?

pants are tight, but it's sliding down from the waist.

    Kristine Jupatova , 18/07/2016

Good value for money and comfortable. Bought a size medium approximately a size 10. Very pleased, hold all the wobbly bits in place

    Sally , 18/07/2016

Really useful and mostly comfortable. I am not particularly tall and found them a bit long meaning they rolled down at the top into my waist.

    Rach , 14/07/2016

Ordered these with a couple other shape wear from JoJo. This was one item I returned. I tried it on and I found the small to be incredibly tight and uncomfortable. I could not wear it. I normally wear a UK size 6 or small in clothing (I'm 5'9 and usually 110lbs. Now between 120-125 lbs 9 weeks after giving birth and at the time of purchasing this item to help with a little post baby Pudgie tummy). I have bought other small sized items from this brand which fits perfectly but this ones comes up very small. I also found the poppers on the crotch to be uncomfortable and I Was very aware that the poppers were there. If you really feel like you want to try this then I suggest sizing up 1 or even 2 sizes and consider that the poppers might not be comfy between your legs. Also I thought that the back is unflattering and cuts into your bottom.. what's the point of having a flatter looking tummy and an unflattering behind? ??

    Maria , 29/06/2016

GET ONE OF THESE. just do it. Best thing I've ever purchased and i would continue wearing these regardless of if i was back to my weight or not. So comfy so snug and it does its job. I had a c section 5 weeks ago and its helped sooo much! Im usually a size 6 and the S is tinyyyt and hard to get on but it NEEEDS to be hard to get on to so its job. If your a size 8 i would get an M to be safe as im a size 8 now and its helping me get back to my size 6 fast.

    Nadia Al-Jaber , 28/06/2016

Was a pre pregnancy size 8 and got the size Small even though my bum/hips is now more like size 10 but the small is perfect. Only problem for me is that the part that goes over my bum and then poppers together is quite tight on me so I cant wear it with anything that would show this e.g. tight dress etc but equally I used to have one with no poppers and it kept moving out of place so the jojomaman bebe one is better in my opinion

    Hannah , 20/06/2016

I haven't wore it but so far I am pleased with the purchase. I can say the fabric quality seems good and the size is on the small side I think. I am size 8 -10 and have not put wait on hips in the pregnancy (currently 8 months) and the best size is medium not small as i initially thought.

    Paty , 16/06/2016

Super soft and does the work

    Teresita , 16/06/2016

Great product, good comfortable fit. Good back support

    Emi , 14/06/2016

bought these after i had a c section. I ordered the Medium size and they were very tight (im a size 10). I can wear them but not everyday! the pants are quite long so if you're not very tall you will find that pants go much higher than on the photo on website.

    mathilde , 02/06/2016

Fab pants, pull me in and bring back confidence after jelly baby belly. Not too tight. I'm a 10/12 (more a 12) and ordered medium and are perfect. Thank you jojo!

    Sataj , 27/05/2016

Excellent value and quality. I got large after reading other reviews and I would guess I'm around size 14. Haven't found the poppers too uncomfortable and they're very useful, I wear normal knickers underneath. Hoping these pants will help pull my stomach muscles back together as was recommended to get something similar by my midwife. Great product

    Laura , 26/05/2016

After giving birth I would say I was around a size 12 so I ordered a medium which was definitely the right choice as I think if I purchased a small I wouldn't have been able to get it on! The medium felt like a tight fit but not too tight and I felt like it was doing the job being a little tight, it held in my postpartum tummy! It did roll down a bit at the top which was a little bit annoyng but not much at all, it still held my fat in! I would definitely recommend this as I do think after 6 weeks my tummy looked a lot flatter!

    Alison , 14/05/2016

I bought a large and am a size 14 at the moment after having my second baby and they fit as they should (can get over my expanded thighs and are tight around the tummy, but then that's the idea!). Haven't worn much yet as its been too hot typically but I'll be wearing with another pair of undies on underneath so I like the fact you can unpop them. They don't make me look any slimmer but they improve my silhouette and my clothes sit smoother so you don't get the lumps and bumps!

    Natalie , 12/05/2016

Hi Magui, thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear of your disappointment. Either myself or one of the other Customer Service Team will be in touch with you directly. Best Wishes, Jo Pembridge, CS Team.

    Customer Service Team , 03/05/2016

Good quality material and strong support - Although popper crotch is to wide and hurt side of legs - i am afraid I can't wear it - i would love same support without popper crotch

    Magui , 02/05/2016

Excellent - very supportive especially post c section. I bought a large (I'm approx size 12-14) and then a medium to slim into! Good quality!

    Sarah , 27/04/2016

Pants are great to keep everything in but the clips not so much. Worth the price tho.

    Izabela , 27/04/2016

These pants are really good at keeping eveything 'in' and smoothing the baby belly out - however as other reviews have mentioned they almost immediately roll down at the top which unfortunately leaves a bulge which from under clothing looks like i have more excess fat than i already do! Once the top bits have rolled down it also becomes uncomfortable and digs in almost. The poppers at the crotch are ok and definitely a much easier alternative than having to pull everything down but at times can also be uncomfortable. I would recommend these pants if you are going to wear them under loose or bagging clothing but if you are buying them to wear under tighter fitting clothes (vest tops / fitted jumpers etc) then i wouldnt bother as when it rolls down it just makes you look bigger than you are when surely your only buying these to pull you in and be slimmer?!! Hope this review helps in your decision.

    Anita , 20/04/2016

These knickers were ideal for flattening out my post-baby belly for a special weekend away where I wanted to look nice! I'm 5 months post C-section and because of breastfeeding hormones I've found it hard to lose the baby weight. I was a size 8 pre-baby and now am a 14, but my belly can make me look as through I'm still pregnant :-( These knickers really smoothed out my belly and gave me a streamlined shape, plus they didn't give me any bulges or funny lines. They are a bit restricting and uncomfortable when sitting down or wearing for long periods, but for a special occasion or just worn for a few hours they are comfortable enough and make you look great :-) Glad I have them to rely on!

    Chloe Madden , 20/04/2016

They provide very good support for the tummy but I didn' like that they are rolling down from the back.

    Silviya Milenkova , 20/04/2016

I have just received my order and I'm over the moon with this product! I am currently 6 days postpartum and I have lost the majority of my bump but there was still a little bit of a tummy there. These support pants streamline my figure and help to keep everything tucked in. I certainly feel more secure and supported as a result. I haven't used the popper fastenings yet as I do not wish to put pressure on my stitches but they feel and look quite strong. For the time being I have tucked the popper section up into the support pants to keep them out of the way until I've healed. I purchased a size small, (was a size UK 8 prior to pregnancy and didnt gain much baby weight) and it fits me just fine. You have brightened up the day of a very exhausted new mum! I am really happy with this product and will, most definitely, recommend it to others.

    Sally Goodwin , 05/04/2016

My stomach muscles had separated and I was told that they may help me to strengthen them again. It also helped to ease the pain. They were an excellent purchase and I would recommend to anyone in a similar situation. I am about a size 10/12 usually and I bought medium, which fit really well for me.

    Lizzie Stansfield , 24/03/2016

Found these good support straight after having my little boy. My physio gave me tubigrip to wear but these were better. Would advise ordering size bigger - i hot the large and i'm a size 14 at the mo, the poppers underneath rubbed against my skin and irritated me a bit which wasn't great after an episiotomy. But still worth the £15.

    Sofie , 18/03/2016

Very supportive and pull in the lumps & bumps very well. Easy to use with the poppers at the bottom as sometimes it can be a struggle in support pants but because of this addition, they are brilliant. I struggled finding support pants that held in my post natal bump, but these worked great!

    Keely , 15/03/2016

Come up on the small side I am a 10 and needed the large, however, once on they're really comfortable and provide strong support. The popper fastening underneath is an advantage.

    Nicola , 14/03/2016

I purchased the high wasted post natal support pants after having a c section. The aim is to wear at an upcoming wedding. The pants are comfortable and help to give a stream line figure, hiding any lumps and bumps. They are tight to get on. I'm a size 8 and bought small. Despite the tightness of getting them on past my thighs they fit fine. As a previous review has mentioned, I have found that one of the poppers seems to come undone. However, this isn't really an issue -just wear pants underneath! In all great product!

    Elizabeth , 08/03/2016

The delivery was quicker than anticipated. It's the best thing I've bought, it's supports my back, takes weight off my tummy. The fasteners make it easy for the loo. Very good quality.

    Monica , 02/03/2016

Great support. Had to go a size bigger than normal.

    Lauryn , 02/03/2016

Ordered a medium but these were so small I couldn't even get them past my knees! Not great when you're already feeling fat after just having a baby!

    Kirstin Randall , 22/01/2016

I decided to purchase some support underwear after having my son 8months ago via c section and I can't believe how comfy and supported I feel and the material doesn't irritate my section scar which I found other underwear brands do.The pop buttons at the crotch are great too for when you need to go to the bathroom . I would highly recommend and I wish I had heard about them sooner as I would have bought for coming out of the hospital xx

    Debbie , 21/01/2016

I unfortunately took this product back: I ordered a medium which is the size I buy for other JoJo clothes and they were so small I don't think I got one leg in there never mind over my post baby bump! I could have ordered a size bigger but abandoned as it was sooo small I had no hope the large would come close either! Definitely order a size bigger if you're thinking of ordering.

    Hannah , 15/01/2016

The best thing i have bought for myself post pregnancy. They work brilliantly and make me feel very slim.

    Eilish Mcnulty , 29/12/2015

My order was delivered on time and it fit very well the first time I tried it on. I am able to wear it all day comfortably. Tucks my tummy in nicely and enhances my shape as well. I purchased a size 12. I will recommend this product.

    Lee , 01/12/2015

I ordered these pants and also the leggings, I was huuuuge during pregnancy (11lb baby) my stomach muscles separated during pregnancy and these have helped bind my stomach back together again. I also had a c section and they were high enough not to interfere with any wounds.

    Nicola , 24/11/2015

Was confused by mixed reviews re sizes. I was a size 10 pre pregnancy and bought these to wear for a wedding 3 weeks after my c section. I bought a large and am so glad I did!! They fitted perfectly and did a good job, but if you are wondering between two sizes, buy the larger one!

    Lynsey Watson , 22/11/2015

I got the medium size (was a size 10 before pregnancy but put on quite a bit of weight). They fit really well and I liked the feeling of support around my waist. After a little while the top started to roll down in the back, it was a bit uncomfortable and quite awkward to roll back up. My other problem was the press studs at the bottom. The seams are reinforced so that they're strong enough to be pulled open and pressed shut time and time again, but the corners poked into my skin. At first I was just aware that it was annoying/uncomfortable, but after a couple of hours it was actually hurting and when I took them off the skin on the inside of my thighs was broken and I had matching little cuts on both sides. I was wearing pants underneath but they didn't protect me. I guess I'll have to wear plasters on my inner thighs if I plan to wear these again?

    Sarah , 13/11/2015

Unfortunately had to send these back as the control panel part rolled down. I'm fairly short (5 foot 4) which may be a factor? Nice quality otherwise.

    Jody , 20/10/2015

Ordered the medium first with being size 12 pre pregnancy & after reading reviews. However I couldn't get them past my hips! Reordered the large & they fit but are still tight, only 3-4 weeks after giving birth though!

    Denise , 19/10/2015

Baby is now 12 days, been wearing these since he was about 7 days. My 3rd and it feels much better to have everything held in! Poppers are scratchy though as other reviews mention-today am wearing normal shorty pants over ( as well as under) which is solving the problem but would be great if the popper design could be changed somehow. I am in large at the moment & have the medium too, was 12 pre- pregnancy!

    Emma , 13/10/2015

I'm usually a size 10 pre pregnancy. These arrived, I got a medium, when I was 38 weeks pregnant and I thought how on earth will I be able to get into these. They really looked like they wouldn't even fit a size 6 lady! After birth I wore them at least 8-12 hours per day. They were quite tight and difficult to get on, they really pull you in but surprisingly are quite comfortable. You forget you are wearing them after a while. Now I'm two weeks post delivery I need to get the small size. I've noticed a massive difference in the size and shape of my belly, not just at the front but all the way around. I look more defined. Very pleased so far even if this were the final result

    G Luke , 09/09/2015

These pants were ridiculously tight, I couldn't even get over my knees! (I am a size 12 and had ordered a medium). There was no protective sticker on the gusset so I presume I cannot return them; so a waste of £15

    Andrea Vane , 25/08/2015

I got these pants after pregnancy as my stomach muscles were torn and I needed something to help me pull them back in. A friend had recommended them. They are a very comfortable fit but unfortunately tend to roll a little at the top. I am usually a size 10/ 12 and ordered the medium size. I even rang the sales team to enquire what type of sizing they were and the lady was very helpful. They arrived quickly and are fantastic at helping me to keep a correct posture! I would definitely recommend them. Thanks!

    Dawn Goulding , 20/07/2015

Bought these for an event (one week after baby arrived) gave me a much smoother stomach and good support, normally a size 10/12 so went for medium, think it was just right. Would recommend

    Laura , 15/07/2015

Not nice at all.they roll down, also not good if you've had a c section due to the bottom don't hold you in starts quite far up and very small fitting

    Bev , 17/06/2015

OK... Hold you in well and give good support, BUT the poppers are useless... They are always unpopping themselves... not the most useful thing! they would be better without them... I may well sew the crotch up!

    Kirsty , 25/05/2015

Love these support pants! They made my tummy feel nicely firm and flat in the first few weeks after birth. Medium size is about size 10/12, but you do want them to be a fairly tight fit. The poppers at the crotch are very convenient and mean you don't have to squeeze out of the support pants every time you go to the toilet. You can wear normal knickers underneath the support pants for extra comfort. Great product, I would recommend them!

    Nicola , 23/05/2015

Fab magic pants! :) does it job brilliantly. The best one I've had so far!

    Elizabeth , 30/04/2015

Really supportive, make my tummy look normal again! O thought they would be too tight when I first put them on but then I realised they needed to be and I soon got used to it. The top does roll down a bit when sitting in the car or whatever so they do need adjusting from time to time. Generally very pleased with the product

    Lyndsey Challinor , 29/04/2015

I wish I had found these before I had my son! He is #3 and was a large baby (9lb 9oz), and I was left with a bad separation of my tummy muscles. He is now 14mth and I have been searching for something to help lessen the appearance of my tummy and to give me some support for my back as it is being affected by the problems in the front. Tried these and they are helping. They are not tight enough on me to pull me in much but they help and my back definitely feels a bit better. I can imagine if I had worn these straight away they would have done a great job of pulling me in! Would definitely recommend having a pair on standby for after delivery!

    kirsten kininmonth , 08/04/2015

These do what they claim! I have one pair that I wear on special occasions as for me they would be too tight for everyday use. They're really supportive and suck everything in making me look good and also help me fit back into my old clothes. Poppers at the crotch make loo visits easier too! Would def recommend

    Ajs , 30/03/2015

I bought 2 pairs of these, small and medium. Pre pregnancy I was size 8 but when I got the small pants I decided there was no way they'd fit so bought medium. I remain hopeful I'll fit into the small size soon. They are very comfortable and feel very supportive. My body shape is also much better when I'm wearing them. The only issue that I have with them is that they ride down at the back, so long as I don't wear anything too tight it shouldn't be visible.

    Becca , 25/01/2015

I have been wearing the support pants for a week now and am happy with the product. I wish I found out about this before I had my first child. I am post 3 months with my second child. I wear them from morning till going to bed. I know some people wear them at night as well. They don't feel uncomfortable. Only thing unhappy with was The buttons. They pinched skin often, so I sewed around the buttons and don't have that problem any more.

    Hyun-Yi Kim , 06/01/2015

I was recommended these by a friend in my antenatal class. I must say they work amazingly well. I have had two c sections and both times these have helped me get my shape back. I found after the c section my tummy was rounded for a long time but once I healed and started wearing these my stomach is loads flatter.

    Demetra Moore , 16/12/2014

Awesome. I'm a size 10 and gave birth to a 9lb8 baby and resembled Mr Greedy in the late stages of pregnancy. Needless to say I needed a little help with my figure and these have been fab. Exceptionally comfy, don't roll down, have done wonders for my figure and handy poppers. I wore a medium for 3 days and then in a small - and also wearing a pair of cotton pants underneath.

    Rachael , 18/10/2014

Good product , the belly is well supported and kept flat but the buttons between legs are not confortable at all and painful at times.this product should be designed without those 3 buttons !

    ML , 17/10/2014

I think it says it all when I write that this is my 2nd pair! So supportive after pregnancy and instantly makes your tummy flatter!

    Alex , 17/09/2014

Great support pants, do the job. Poppers are a good idea although chaffed a bit towards the end of the day!

    Kelly , 05/09/2014

Bought these for a wedding for some support after my c section & to help me feel a bit more like me 3 weeks after having my little one. I was a size 8 before I fell pregnant so got the smaller size. It was a bit of a fight to get them on but they were very comfy once on and felt very supportive. The top did roll down a lot throughout the day but not sure if that was because they were a tiny bit too small or went up too high. I folded the top over a few cm and problem solved.

    Amber , 05/09/2014

These are ok. They keep rolling down tho and gathering which is annoying.

    Rifat , 22/08/2014

I was advised to wear some post pregnancy support due to separated stomach muscles after the birth of my second child. These have been great, tight but they are supposed to be, and stay up well, not rolling down all the time. Poppers are comfortable too.

    sarah , 15/07/2014

I have worn these after the birth of both my children and they really helped to maintain posture while feeding and gave me the confidence of smoothing my tummy down while I got back into shape.

    Libby Horne , 24/06/2014

Good product, definitely helps tuck the post pregnancy tummy and helps get you back into those lovely jeans and dresses. I am so glad I bought it as it gives me the confidence to get into a nice dress without worrying about my tummy, I feel like me again.

    Maeve , 16/06/2014

These pants are great for wearing with a nice dress or top where you want to suck in your tummy after having a baby. It gave my back great support too. But I found that I could only wear it for a few hours as it was very tight.

    Maeve Macknelly , 16/06/2014

I started wearing these two weeks after an emergency section. I was a size 8 pre pregnancy and bought the small, fit was perfect (even though in the middle area I am probably nearer a 12 now.) They are so comfortable. I did wear some big knickers underneath while still bleeding. I found the support really comfortable post op. Wearing them even made walking around much easier. I didn't find they rolled down too much but a few weeks on they do not roll at all as my stomach has reduced and they come up higher! They wash really well too. Would definitely recommend it is brilliant to feel a little more streamlined!

    Kayleigh Calderbank , 09/06/2014

Money well spent - these pants are really comfortable and feel like they hold everything in, giving a much smoother silhouette. Roll down a little at the top but suspect this will stop happening as I lose weight. Nice soft material that can be worn all day. Also like the poppers so you don't have to fight with them every time you use the bathroom..once you're in you're in! You also don't notice the poppers when wearing. Great product

    Laura , 17/05/2014

Fantastic product- wish I'd known about them sooner. Poppers are very handy. I bought medium and small to fit as my shape changed. They really do pull everything in and help you focus on your posture.

    Rachel , 13/05/2014

These are pretty good. I got the medium and I'm a borderline size 12 almost a 14 post baby. They do support the tummy, have helped alleviate tendon pain, give a nice silhouette to a problem area and are reasonable priced. Slight rolling down at the top but show me support pants that don't! I like the poppers in principal but the sharp stitched edges by the poppers have rubbed during the few wears but thankfully, appear to be softening with each wash.

Measuring Guidelines

  • We advise you to buy your pre-pregnant size. Styles have been cut to allow for your changing shape but should fit the following approximate figure measurements.
  • Please note that garment measurements vary according to the design.
  • Items sized S, M, L are cut in extra stretchy fabric to fit both size groups.
  • Lengths are calculated from under the waistband on skirts, nape of neck to hem on dresses and inside leg on pants and shorts.
  • Many waistbands are soft, stretchy jersey which can be rolled up over or under the belly.
