Absolutely ridiculous! So far removed from a real eating experience and completely unnecessary. The whole point of weaning is to get used to what real food is like.

Recently started using these for my 5 month old...he currently needs help to coordinate the 'lollies'; they are bigger and heavier than I expected, but I'm sure he will learn to hold and coordinate them soon.
Great piece of mind that large chunks cannot be pulled off though. So far we have used banana and mango...not easy to clean, but not too bad if you do it straight away!

Pop an ice cube or cube of fruit purée in and your teething baby will be as happy as a clam.
Good grip size, altogether a nice product.

Great product which my baby took to instantly. Have used it with banana and mango which are both too slippery for my 6 month old to hold properly. Only issue is that with banana the nets are really difficult to clean. Have given up trying to get it perfectly clean but put it through the steriliser to kill most germs. Would suggest getting a couple of nets and using one for banana and one for everything else.

I used this first time round with my first child. Seven years later I went looking for it again as such a fab idea. Found a different branded one first and regretted buying it as the bag was firmly attached to the handle making it harder to clean properly. This is worth the extra money as it all comes apart making cleaning easier as it does get mucky - but what price peace of mind - turn your back and get on with cooking while they smear 'bright green advocado, mango or just about anything you can shove in' mush all over themselves happily not yelling for their food while you go about dinner calmly, rather than going grey and fear combusting leaving behind a pile of ashes and your shoes as a lasting reminder of life before one of these! Tip - a toothbrush is great for cleaning the bag - perhaps not for the really squeemish!

These are a god send. I feed my daughter fruit from these. She is 8 months and doesn't like texture/chewing so this way she chews and gets puréed food.

These are ideal for my twins, who are weaning at 5 months to help build them up, but still too young for me to give them finger foods without worrying. Also, with their being twins, I can't give one my undivided attention - the feeders give me the confidence to give one something to suck /chew on whilst I feed the other My boys love them.

Excellent product which I'd fully recommend. The handle makes it easier for small hands to grip and having the refill bags available is wonderful.

Perfect for grapes - chop them into quarters so they can suck the juice out & all you're left with is a mush of grape skin.

I used these when weaning my son, now 6 years old, and to me they were an essential bit of kit for weaning my daughter who has just turned 6 months. After just 4 days use, she gets excited as soon as she sees the feeder and has so far tackled apple, pear, carrot and cucumber with great enthusiasm, giving me time to prepare spoon feeds. The only small negative would be that the bags stain easily from the fruit / vegetable inside.

Gives peace of mind at start. Cleaner when out and great for chilled items for sore gums

I bought these for my 6 and a half month old daughter (my first) who refused to let anyone feed her and she happily chews away on whole pieces of banana, carrot, apple etc in this without the fight to get a spoon in her mouth. not sure how long the nets are supposed to last but they are a bit expensive to keep replacing. but wouldn't be without it.

I bought these as my baby had problems with choking when eating finger foods. These are great, as he is now able to eat any food without the risk of choking. Perfect until he learns to chew without choking! Would definitely recommend these.

These are great! My son was very premature and has difficulty with lumps, but can manage this easily. They are suitable for older puree fed babies, or for younger babies doing baby led weaning who are not confident biting big bits off yet.
My son really enjoys holding it and being able to feed himself. He also uses the handle as a teether. It's reassuring to know he can learn to chew and enjoy fruit and veg without the risk of choking. I recommend them to everyone!
