We have read your comments about the instructions for this gate and have contacted BabyDan with regards to this. They will be producing clearer instructions shortly which we will start sending out with the gates as soon as we receive them. We will also put a link to the instructions on the website.

Very complicated gate to put together, instructions are very confusing. I returned the gate cause it was way too complicated, as compared to Lindham really poor quality. Also poor service from Jojo Maman Bebe support team as had to pay 6 pounds to return the item. There are no instructions on the actual presentation of the gate on the web about manual difficulty of putting gate together, so pay attention to that if you decide to go for this gate, was totally unexpected to find such a poor quality item in this store (as generally such good quality items!!)

Am now buying my second gate, very good and sturdy, instructions are a bit confusing but once up the gate is fabulous!

We have three of these gates so far: top and bottom of the stairs and on the kitchen doorway. I'm buying a 4th because they are so good! The instructions are a bit silly but once built, these gates are sturdy and strong. They have survived a very active and boisterous child and a hefty Labrador for 3 years and are still going strong.

Good safety gate. We have used it at the top and bottom of the stairs. No bottom bar to have to step over. Also good as we had skirting boards at the bottom and wall at the top and we were able to adjust the size to fit, without having to put a wooden batton up. The instructions are poor. When putting up the wall attachements bear in mind that they do not need to be directly opposite each other as you need to take into account that the gate has two overlapping parts.

Very disappointing for the money. The instructions on how to assemble were very unclear and it took hours the put up. The plastic hinges and brackets do not fill me with confidence as everything seems flimsy.
