Fantastic service from JoJo Mamam - dispatched straight away and I was sent a link to the couriers website so I could track my deliver to the hour! The crib is very easy to put together. The instructions aren't the easiest to follow but I found I didn't really need them. The height adjusts very easily and the 'recline' feature is brilliant, much safer than trying to prop one end of the cot up with books like I used to with my first baby when he had reflux or a a cold. I've read a lot of reviews saying that the mattress is too firm. However, I think it's fine - baby's needs are different from ours and there are safety guidelines or rules for baby's mattresses. My only gripe is that the mattress cover, whilst washable, isn't waterproof and it's not the easiest to remove (I definitely couldn't deal with it in the middle of the night!). I've managed to find a breathable waterproof mattress cover though which I'd recommend getting. Overall, great. Will last much longer than a Moses basket and will hopefully help with getting a good nights sleep. My little boy would only sleep in my bed with his little hands clamped to either side of my face - this is the perfect solution to avoid 'bed sharing' which I know isn't recommended.

I love the fact I can comfort my little one without having to get up. He loves that he can see mummy too. Great product, easy to put together, would definitely recommend!

I am pleased with the crib, it is bigger than I expected so it should last for a few months, I just need to work out how I'm going to get in and out of bed around it! It is well made and adjusts in several different ways to help fit it to the bed.
The crib does need to fit to the bed in quite a specific way, there should be no gap between the crib and the bed, and the open side of the crib (there is a low panel along the open side) should come lower than the mattress of the main bed, presumably so there isn't a 'ridge' of crib alongside the join which could be dangerous for the baby (if the baby's neck ends up on the ridge). In order to fit it correctly to our bed we had put some planks of wood under our mattress to raise it (you can't feel them through the mattress). So my advice would be, buy the crib in good time to make sure you can fit it properly before the baby comes. There was a delay of around 1 month on my order with so I'm glad I ordered in good time.
The baby isn't here yet but when they are I'm looking forward to having the convenience of them right beside me for breastfeeding and also to reassure them if they cry, much easier than getting in and out of bed to a separate crib.
The mesh sides are also a good design. For my first baby we had a swinging crib with wooden bars, however his hands would get stuck between the bars so he'd wake up crying, and dummies would fall on the floor. He also hated the swinging. That won't happen with the mesh sides.

This is a great bedside crib for the price. Our bed is reasonably high as it has a mattress topper but the highest height setting works well (and I imagine the height ranges are good for nearly all bed heights). It was easy to put together and will also be easy to transport for travel when we need to do that. It's much bigger than a moses basket so I will be able to use this for my daughter until she is ready to go into her own room at approximately 6 months. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the mattress is on the firm side and you cannot change it given it's a specific size for this crib. However, it doesn't seem to be bothering my daughter who has been sleeping well! Overall very pleased with it.

This bedside crib sounded like a great idea but unfortunately the accompanying instructions were really not user-friendly. When we finally got our heads round them we discovered the crib didn't fit our bed (it is marketed as fitting most beds). As our baby couldn't have slept safely in it we returned it. The customer services representative at JoJos was really helpful although it was annoying to have to spend £6 on the collection. But maybe it all worked out for the best the crib's size abd position would have made it hard to get out of bed! It's also rather ugly and seemed hard to zip up the side when attached.
Chicco Next 2 Me Crib
Safely sleep next to your little one in those early days.
The Chicco Next2Me Crib is a bedside crib that promotes side-sleeping and allows you to sleep close to your child but not in the same bed. With Next2Me your child can safely sleep in their crib while you sleep next to them, making cuddling and breastfeeding easier. As your baby grows, the cot can be moved away from the adult bed and used with the side panel to convert it to a regular crib. The mesh side panel increases visibility and air flow. The six height positions mean it can be attached to most beds and the folding feet will even work with beds that have drawers underneath. Crib base can be inclined to help with reflux.
