Small sizing, I'm 6ft tall and normally a size 10/12. I bought this bra in large size but it's quite tight and I'm only 25 weeks so don't think it will fit for much longer. If they did an extra large I would have exchanged it.

This is a tight fitting bra which the advantage is a smoother outline. The neckline is quite high so depends if you want it to be seen above your top. My bust is not really huge but the large size is still a tight fit - could do with an extra large?

I bought this to wear as a sleep bra in latter stages of pregnancy. Its quite comfy but the fit is not great - I take a 30 back size usually and ordered a Medium which was really tight. The band underneath also doesn't stay flat across the chest and rolls up which isn't great at night.

Not enough support for my G cups to wear as a bra during the day but great light weight support for night wear. Comfortable and soft.

I wish I had read all the reviews. I couldn't believe how tight the medium was. I will be retuning this item but it was so tight that I can't imagine that 1 size up will make a difference. Medium in the maternity and nursing sleep bra was perfect. Sizing really should be standardised.

I bought a couple of these to sleep in. I am a size 12 and ordered a medium and the fit is good. They are definitely supportive and most importantly, comfy!

Exactly what I was looking for - supportive but comfortable. Based on other reviews I was surprised I fitted in the Small / Medium sizes. I am usually a size 10 and bought these when 17 weeks pregnant. I got a small and a medium - medium is more comfortable for wearing overnight (and gives me room to grow) but I got a small (which is fairly neat) for doing yoga over these earlier weeks.

I am usually a size 10, but during pregnancy I am now a size 12 on top. I thought I would order the medium, but reading other reviews I decided to go for the large. I'm glad I did! The sleep bra doesn't seem to be sized very well.
The ribbed bit isn't very stretchy and feels quite close against my rib cage. I was expecting it to be a bit roomy as I had purchased a large, but was a little disappointed.
The body of the bra is quite comfortable and nice to sleep in.
I like that the bra works like a crop top too. I have been using it to wear under low cut tops to avoid "spillage".
Overall, once you get over the tight feeling the bra is comfortable and practical.
I would recommend this product, but you might have to order a couple to check sizing!

Bras arrived very quickly. The quality is excellent. It is exactly as it is advertised. Very good to wear as a day or night bra.

I bought this very early on in my pregnancy as my breasts were so painful and I had heard good things about this bra. I was somewhat disappointed and in hindsight I wish I'd just taken it back. I am on the larger side - normally a 38E - and while this bra was great in the cup and did indeed relieve my discomfort, it was so tight around the band that it rolled up and hurt. Fine if you're slim but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise!

Not the most attractive bra but very comfortable to sleep in and it stretches to my large cup size. Would not wear this during the day as does not offer enough support.

Again a lovely product but I wish I'd bought the large size, I am usually small, size 8 so bought medium but it is too small. Otherwise, great fabric, lovely design.

This is the most comfortable bra I've found to get me through my pregnancy, but it's definitely tight for larger sized ladies (I've been wearing the large size since I was about 4 months pregnant and it seems quite tight). Worth getting a few t-shirts / vest tops to go over the top as the width of the straps means that it shows through the neck of lower cut tops.

Returned it as it didn't really work for me.
  • review score 0 Suzanne on 28 May 2012
I have been using this bra to sleep in since month 3 and they are great. They're comfortable and give enough support without being too tight for sleeping comfortably. I was originally a size 34B and needed a medium but have now had to buy a large as Im a 36C. Highly recommend.

Found this to be very comfortable, I sleep in it every night. However, I have already outgrown the Medium which feels quite tight now so I have had to order a Large, I only hope I don't grow any more!

Very helpful staff in the Harrogate store suggested this bra in my search for something....anything!!... to relieve aching ribs while trying to sleep in the third trimester.
  • review score 0 Unknown on 22 October 2010
I was so happy to find this bra as at 18 weeks I've far outgrown my usual size but know there's a long way to go yet! This is very comfortable and supportive, and the sports-bra style means it will hopefully last me longer (

Maternity and nursing bra sizing

Guidance in choosing your nursing bra size

If you find that your measurements don't correspond to the sizes listed below we recommend that you visit one of Our Stores for professional fitting. We carry a wider range of sizes in store and can advise you on the best style for you.

Once the milk comes in, the cup size will increase by at least one size, so nursing bras purchased before the birth should allow for this.

The rib cage size should reduce back to its pre-pregnant size within a few weeks of the birth
- which is why nursing bras have so many back size adjustors. When trying a bra before the birth, ensure that the back is on one of the loosest fittings, to allow you to tighten it as rib cage retracts after the birth.

The nursing bras that fit before and after the birth will possibly not fit a couple of months
later once a breastfeeding pattern has been established. You may need to purchase smaller bras at this stage.

What will I need for pregnancy & breastfeeding?
As a minimum we suggest:

  • 2 maternity bras and 2 nursing bras
  • Or 4 nursing bras (which can be worn during the later stages of pregnancy)
  • 2 sleep bras (unless the style chosen for the above is also suitable for sleep)
  • 2 packs of nursing inserts
  • 1 pregnancy support pillow
  • Mattress protection sheet

In preparation for breastfeeding we also recommend that you have a supply of nipple cream. Camillosan is perfect and available from all chemists.

How to measure yourself for a UK bra size:
Simply measure under and across your bust and use our chart below.
