I got this jacket in red and I really like it. Really good value for money except size 8 is far too big - more like size 10-12.

Lovely smart lightweight navy jacket goes with everything - perfect for work or casual. I'm due in November so hoping to layer with thick jumpers to see me through as weather changes. Sizing great except for the bottom button which doesn't allow quite enough space for expanding pregnancy boobs. I think shifting button will suffice.

As soon as I tried this jacket on a button fell off, which I wasn't too pleased about. However it is a nice thick fabric, although very creased, but will be great for Autumn or Spring.

This adorable jacket would have been perfect, but it's sleeves were just too short and it was too tight around my chest. I have measured myself carefully since sending anythinh back isn't really an option from here (60£). I think the EUR size 38 (which is usually good for me, or even a bit big - definitely is not the same as UK 8. All other items (sized s) fitted perfectly!

Really wanted to like this jacket, but unfortunately the shape and fit just didn't work. I bought the red in a size 12, my usual size. However its way too small at the bust, and I'm not large, and massive everywhere else. The colour and button detailing were very nice, but as the buttons strained so much to do up they wouldn't last 5 mins. Needless to say this went back, much to my disappointment. Jojo get the fit right for next season!

I ordered Size 12 and had to return due to it being too large all over. I would definitely recommending down sizing. Great quality coat with plenty of room for the bump.

Nice coat - there is such a limited selection on the market. The fit isn't brilliant - there's no give around the bust/chest area meaning I had to go one size up from my pre-pregnancy size and it's still tight there. I tried another size up and that was too big across the shoulders. Also - check the buttons - I've had two come off within a few weeks of wearing it - think they need sewing on a bit better.

Lovely shaped coat but terrible quality - bought it 4 weeks ago and 3 out of the 4 buttons have fallen off. Not deserving of the price.

Great coat but it is quite tight across the chest so worth buying the bigger size.

I had really high hopes for this jacket but unfortunately did not not find it flattering. Ordered a size 10 which I normally am consistently but found it too tight in the chest, short in the arms, and way too flared at the bottom. It really made me look huge at 5 months. I think the flare needs to be just at the front and not so much at the back.

Love my new red coat but I did need to buy a bigger size than normal.

Lovely maternity coat, only a shame the button came off on the second day of wearing it and there are no spare buttons contained within! Grr! So, reinforcing of buttons needed plus a spare wouldn't go amiss next time.

With few alternatives for a light weight summer pregnancy coat, I bought this, despite some of the reviewers highlighting the tight bust. The 16 (usually ok, and I think the 18 would be too big) is already tight on me at 17 weeks (with 36DD bust). So I imagine i'll wear it open a lot of the time later in my pregnancy. The bottom half is also (understandably) wide, which does make me feel like a big bell. On the plus side, the colour (blue), quality, striped lining and length of the sleeves is great, which means it'll be a keeper.

I bought this jacket just a few weeks ago as I wanted a lighter coat to see me through to the end of my pregnancy. The 12 fit me when I bought it at around 20 weeks and the 14 was monstrous. So I went with the 12. But because the weather has been exceptionally cold I've only worn it now and it is already not fitting. It's far too tight across the bust in particular and I wouldn't think that 36E is exceptionally large for a pregnant woman. There seems to be no allowance whatsoever for an expanding bust. It's so hard to get maternity jackets at all and I loved this when I bought it. Very disappointed.

Good smart coat for the spring. I have worn it a lot already. I did need a 12 (am a pre-pregnancy 10) as the 10 was just a bit small over the chest.

A nice cotton coat - matt cotton, not shiny or waterproof but the matt cotton is what I wanted. Fits well across bust and bump and still space to grow as I'm 25 weeks now. I got the red which is a nice cheerful colour and material feels good quality.

Love this coat, I actually think it looks better in real life than in this picture. Very smart and stylish. The only niggle was that as my breasts have enlarged in my pregnancy the top half has become a little bit tight, but if they get any bigger (34 G now) I have a size 12, then I can move the buttons a bit. I really do feel good in this jacket, perfect for spring x

I am unhappy with this purchase to me a mac is a shiny material and not like this material which does not even look showerproof! The photos on the website are not what it is really like.

I bought this coat to make me feel special as opposed to wearing one of my husbands coats and looking like i was wearing a tent. It worked and was a very good price compared to some.

Very pleased to find a smart jacket to wear to work. I love the style. It is snug around the bust, but fits fine as long as I'm not wearing a super thick jumper.

Unfortunately the 8 was too small for me around the bust, and I found the large gathering around the bottom too much, so had to send it back.
Nicki on Sunday, May 27, 2012
Nice coat but unfortunately much too big for me. However I am a slim size 8 with a small (but normal!) bump. I'm sure it would fit towards the end of my pregnancy but I wanted a coat to see me through from about 21 weeks.

comfortable and lots of room to grow, good buy!!

I bought this for my daughter, who had been looking for a mackintosh for weeks. She was delighted with both the fit and the quality.
Helen on Monday, May 07, 2012
I love this jacket, it is great quality and goes with everything. Not too warm for spring/summer wardrobe. Best maternity purchase so far.

This coat is comfy, although the 16 was too big and 14 too small. The 'skirt' flares quite a lot which I didn't find flattering (not when you're already growing loads anyway!) The coat is also much darker in colour than shown on the picture, but I preferred the darker navy.
Amy Newson on Saturday, January 28, 2012
Nice coat, though colour very dark Navy (almost looks black) which is still nice, just different to the photo.
