I am not very happy with these tights. After one wear and one wash they have worn quite badly and are quite baggy in the leg.
Lois on 10 February 2014
Nice material, but unfortunately they keep falling down, I'm 5'10" and the bit that goes over my bump to stay up isn't long enough so have to keep pulling up
Rachel M on 27 December 2013
The comfiest pair of tights I have ever worn! Really lovely fit and fitted so well over my tummy. Washed well, good quality
Kate on 06 December 2013
Dreadful tights - I've spent most of today hoisting them up. They keep falling down and the gusset ends up somewhere mid thigh. Useless. I don't understand why anyone would have designed maternity tights that only come up onto the waist at the back - surely it's inevitable that the front will get pulled down to the same level? I have quite a big bump which should have been enough to keep them up - but sadly wasn't. I'm 5'10" and usually a size 12 so I bought the large. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.
Ruth Cribb on 04 December 2013
These tights are super comfortable, even in the early stages they are soft but also don't fall down - exactly what I need for a long commute and sitting at a desk all day.
C Fisken on 15 November 2013
Loved them, very nice quality and super comfy
Alys on 01 November 2013
Definitely wish I'd read reviews before buying!!
They come up low on the back, and constantly slip down, making me feel incredibly indignified hoiking them up constantly!!
Kate on 24 October 2013
Just what I was looking for. Ordered black and grey. Should see me nicely through. I am only 16 weeks currently but they fit perfectly already and will no doubt stretch.
Leanne Boss on 21 October 2013
Very comfortable, I will definitely buy more of these tights.
Fi on 14 October 2013
Ordered these online in medium. I have bought tights from Mamas and Papas in the same size so thought they would be ok. The feel is nice but I find they come up quite low on my back more to hip height which is not so comfortable. They will do, but I wouldn't rush to buy more
Rosie on 04 October 2013
Rubbish tights. They are much too loose even at 8 months pregnant, and won't stay up. I wish I'd read the other reviews before buying. Don't buy these tights.
Vikki O'Keeffe on 02 October 2013
Tights, fit great, very comfortable - size appropriate no problem with looking like Nora Batty (Wrinkley Ankles).
Jennifer on 11 September 2013
These tights are ok but I think over-priced for the quality. They're opaque enough for me but snag easily and aren't really tight enough so start to sage and gather at the ankle. I haven't had a problem with them falling down though. I wouldn't buy another pair.
Claire on 20 June 2013
Very comfortable, but quite long for me - I'm 5'2. Also, definitely hand wash as per the instructions, as the colour runs!
adriana on 24 April 2013
I am 12 weeks pregnant and 70 kg. I bought the Large size. They fit me perfectly and the material is thick enought. However, they fall.
I suppose this is caused by the fact that my bump is not big enough and the poor tights do not have on what to hang. I think that in a few weeks when my bump will grow bigger, they will stay more fix on my belly.
I am happy with them as they do not torture my bump, as my pre-pregnancy tights already do. So, the fact of pulling them once in a while is not so problematic. At least, i do not feel that my belly is squized all the time.
Jessica on 17 April 2013
A Sienesi on 09 April 2013
I am slightly disappointed in these tights. I thought they would be thicker/more opaque. I have some from M&S and they are more comfortable and slightly cheaper.
Rachel Walker on 08 April 2013
I don't usually write reviews but felt that I have to on this occasion as the product is so poor. Very disappointed in these tights, they are too low at the back which pulls them down all of the time. They do not stay over bump. I bought a pair of tights in Jojo last year which were great and stayed over my bump all day as they were high at the back, was hoping these were the same but disappointed to find they are not. Can I get a refund? I have receipt?
Gabrielle on 25 March 2013
These were a bit of a dud, I'm afraid - they kept coming down off my bump. I am 24 weeks pregnant. I have given up on these tights and simply can't wear them and will look elsewhere for a more reliable pair of maternity tights that will hold up better...
Laura Hardwick on 22 January 2013
Very disappointing. These tights simply do not come up high enough. They only reach the waist at the back, as a normal pair of tights would. They do extend higher round the front, but not enough. I can only walk about fifty yards before they ping down, exposing my bump. And once this happens, the whole things start sliding down. Within minutes, the gusset is about mid thigh level. Not terribly attractive! They don't feel as though they are clingy or elastic enough, they are a bit loose and baggy. Certainly not worth £8. However, they have not laddered and the material seems strong. They are satisfyingly opaque but have quite a sheen. I am thirty seven weeks pregnant, 5'09" and a size 14.
Fran Fieldhouse on 21 January 2013
Karrie O'C on 18 January 2013
These tights are luxuriously soft and a nice thickness. Contrary to others, I found that they stayed up well, much better than some other, thinner maternity tights I have. I would definitely recommend these tights.
Sarah Spillane on 17 January 2013
Such comfortable tights, makes a massive difference to just buying a pair of bigger regular tights. Will be getting a few more pairs to last my pregnancy
Catherine Peckitt on 17 January 2013
Nice quality and nice material. Bought a pair in black as pleased with grey ones but these ones seem to fall down a lot.
Rachel David on 11 January 2013
I was really disappointed in these tights. They constantly fall down when I'm walking and they only time they stay put is when I'm sitting still!
Helen on 03 January 2013
These tights are by far my worst maternity purchase to date. I was so disappointed as I have loved everything else I've bought from JoJo Maman Bebe (though these are not JoJo's own brand, they are by Emma Jane). The material feels gorgeous at first - very soft - but within ten minutes of wearing the top has slipped down under the bump. I got sick of hitching them up (and it's embarrassing when you have to keep doing it in public!) so as a test I walked around at home for a while to see what would happen if I didn't hitch them up - I stopped the test when the elastic at the top of the tights was at mid-thigh level and I could no longer walk safely (this happened within 20 minutes of the last hitch-up). I would not recommend this product.
Victoria on 01 January 2013
Lost elasticity around waist after first wash. Now I'm constantly pulling them up. Might get better when my bump is bigger-am 24 weeks
Donna Hydes on 24 December 2012
Great quality and VERY comfortable
victoria hirst on 24 December 2012
Great quality, comfortable tights. A worth while purchase.
Ellen on 20 December 2012
Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with these tights. They are really low at the back and as soon as you move they keep slipping down over the bump at the front. The material is lovely but terrible design.
Louisa on 13 December 2012
These tights are a nightmare - don't buy them! They fall down all the time! The back is far too low and while the front comes up over the bump they just don't stay up. I threw them away after a couple of wears as just too embarrassing hitching them up all the time!
Laura on 13 December 2012
Wore these tights once and then had to throw them out. The one time I wore them nearly led to the tights ending up round my ankles. Not only did they not stay up round my bump, they would fall down to round my knees. I do not recommend these.
jojo on 10 December 2012
it is a great material but it does not stay up. i am 14 weeks and when i walk the tights fall down to under my bump and eventually under by bum! i bought a size large as i am usually size 14-16. i will continue with my quest for thick maternity tights
Lucy on 06 December 2012
I am really disappointed with these maternity tights. The brand of them is Emma Jane.I'm 5'2" so ordered the medium size which is meant to fit my height right upto 5'7". However the tights just rolled down as I walked around in them, pulling my underwear down with them! Out of depseration I tried putting them on the other way round to check it wasn't me but they still kept rolling down! Not worth the £8 sadly.
Alke Healey on 05 December 2012
Really happy with these tights, nice colour, comfortable to wear and warm enough for cold winter days.
Unknown on 04 December 2012
All the way to work this morning I was pulling up my tights which were half-way round my legs by the time i got to work. not a good look for a professional. Although the quality and look of these tights is gorgeous - they do not stay up...if you plan to stand up at any point during wearing these please be aware of this. I now have to venture home without them on, in a maternity dress, in 4 degree winter weather, as i'd rather look cold than look like Nora Batty/show the world my gusset.
S Hamilton on 01 December 2012
These are a good fit and very comfortable. Slight sheen to the finish.
LoeyF on 01 December 2012
slightly disappointed with these tights - I am 26 weeks pregnant and while these fit over my bump nicely they are tight and restrictive at the back. I chose a size medium as I am size 10. Maybe I needed to choose large?
H Scott on 30 November 2012
Really nice, soft material, but too big to be wearable. I'm 5'4" and 5 months pregnant, but the medium tights slipped off completely after a couple of hours!
Maree on 29 November 2012
These tights are terrible. I have bought several pairs and all of them continually fall down. Don't buy them, complete waste of money.
Suzie on 28 November 2012
Bought the grey (size M) tights and they are great. Bought the same size in black and they are awful! After one wear, they kept slipping down under my bump and below by knickers - highly embarrassing to have to keep pulling up under my dress! Will be seeking a refund or a replacement with a smaller size. No idea why the colours were different as am very happy with my other pair.
Jenny on 25 November 2012
Very comfortable tights, would highly recommend for later stages of pregnancy.
Tamasin on 23 November 2012
A Littie too small for me you need to introduce XL
Nicky Duncan on 22 November 2012
The worst maternity tights ever - they were the right size and yet slid down to practically around my ankles. I hated them and am going to throw them away!
Victoria Colverson on 21 November 2012
These are the worst Maternity Tights I have ever invested in - after just one wear, the waistband has lost its elasticity and the Bump Panel keeps coming down below Bump causing the tights to pool at my ankles and rub the tops of my thighs.
Won't be buying these again unfortunately!
Jules on 21 November 2012
Boght 2 pairs. These tights were much more confortable than John Lewis ones but after 1st wash they lost all elasticity so constantly fall down! Hillarious for everyone except me! VERY dissapointed as Nora Batty not a good look! Sadly cannot recommend to anyone for this reason. Note -bought these as had been very pleased with all other Jojo stuff and reviews on Amazon for Emma Jane tights all said FALL DOWN...........These arrived and ARE the Emma Jane ones. :-(
Caroline on 14 November 2012
I am pleased with my grey tights. I am 5' 11" and they are long enough.
Caroline on 14 November 2012
I am pleased with my grey tights. I am 5' 11" and they are long enough.
Bella on 14 November 2012
Very comfy and generously fitting tights that wash well. The seams are either side of your bump rather than straight down the front which is a great idea!
Alison Makin on 13 November 2012
I bought these in a medium, I'm 5 foot 3 and approx a size 12 - and they just will not stay up!! They're quite spacious and in a matter of minutes I have them wrinkled round my ankles!
Helen on 12 November 2012
I bought these in black and plum. The colours are great and they wash well. They are a crazy fit as they do tend to roll down to below my bump but I think maybe I'm still a bit small to keep them up (I'm at 4months). The back is lower than the front which takes some getting used to but they are a great thickness and I like them.
charlotte on 05 November 2012
These lack a little bit or elastic or something more than what they currently have to hold them up. Bit of a nightmare if wearing all day, constanlty having to pull them up!!
jenny on 05 November 2012
Really soft and comfortable. A really nice grey - i will be living in these this winter.
Rachel Wheeler on 03 November 2012
Similar to other reviewers, I had the same problem with these tights in that they keep falling down! Perhaps the top elastic should be tighter, but they don't stay up over my bump. In fact, they stay up better if I wear them backwards, which I tried once at work in desperation. Shame, because they are perfect otherwise.
Sarah Hickox on 02 November 2012
Very comfortable tights but do feel a little thinner than non-maternity tights of the same denier. A little expensive for a single pair.
E Griffiths on 01 November 2012
These are nice tights but I should have bought a large rather than a medium. At only 5'2" and with bump measuring below average at 30 weeks, these tights do not come up high enough over my bump or at the back to stay up. Every time I leave my desk they ping to below my bump and then start to fall down. Not ideal in a busy office.
Sophie on 01 November 2012
Great to find soft comfortable maternity tights in more colours than just plain black. I am a UK size 6/8 but got Medium as mothercare Small size is too tight. However, the Medium from here is a wee bit big so the small might have been ok.
mama x3 on 29 October 2012
I have been desperately searching for decent tights... and my search continues. I am a size 16 and 6 months pregnant and these tights are huge and won't stay up. The elastic around the waistband is totally ineffectual and I spent the whole day hauling them up! Not the look i'm going for as a working mum out to remain professional even though she feels the size of a whale!
Leonie on 22 October 2012
Great tights, but probably best to go up a size ot make sure they don't fall down. I took a gamble and bought Large when am usually a Medium and glad I did! they fit just right in the leg and the crotch doesn't slip down, with enough material to cover and sit over the bump comfortably.
sarah on 22 October 2012
fast delivery. very comfy product and correct sizing.
SChurch on 17 October 2012
Very comfortable and medium was just the right size for me with a little bump (5'5")- hoping they'll last we'll into third trimester. Would recommend.
Madeline Farr on 16 October 2012
These tights are really comfortable with plenty of room for a growing bump. Probably a little too much room for me at 20 weeks, although I really don't like my tights to feel too clingy, so I'm happy with the fit. I'm only 5' 2" so they are on the long side for me, but haven't had any issues with them rolling down when I bend over, so they've passed the test!
Jo on 11 October 2012
I'm a normal size 10 and 5 foot 8. Ordered the medium (based on Mothercare sizings) and they fit, just, but are a bit small. Also they are a bit thin for 60 denier, more like a 40 denier I'd say. They also sit very low at the back which isn't very comfy, but might just be due to them being a bit small.
Vanessa Hutchinson on 11 October 2012
I am very happy with these tights! Very reasonably priced compared to some other brands, and seem to be of good quality. Very comfortable and don't seem likely to ladder, so I think I'll be able to wear them right through my pregnancy. Also seem to be a good size for height.
Jo Hamill on 09 October 2012
just what I needed and nice and comfy
Jo on 02 October 2012
really pleased with these tights - lots of room but not baggy so no risk of them falling down!
ktaylor on 01 October 2012
Fit well and look good however the elastic on the waist band could be better as I had an issue after few wears that they were not staying up properly!
Jo on 01 October 2012
Another day, another bizarre waistband from jojomaman... These tights are a bit strange in that they are over the bump at the front, but drop down at the back so that the waistband at the back is as low as a normal pair of tights. Great if you want them for a backless number, but I'm just wearing them to work! They don't stay up over my bump at all, so I'm wearing them under the bump, but they keep falling down. Other than that, lovely colour (grey) and lovely soft shiny material.
Lynne on 01 October 2012
Wasn't sure which way round to wear these as there is no label - double stitching and extra material around my bump or behind? Although the material is very soft and they are a good thickness, I think I bought the wrong size as they are slightly short in the leg and I kept hitching them up - not very elegant!
Jill on 27 September 2012
Great tights... bought two pairs. Fit perfectly over bump and very comfortable.
Megan on 24 September 2012
Love these tights, I'm usually a Medium and my normal size fits perfectly at 27weeks and there is stretch for them to grow with me. Super comfortable!
Teresa on 24 September 2012
I am really happy with this product, they are really comfortable and the color is nice.
Isabel on 20 September 2012
Unfortunately the tights will not stay up over my bump, I think they could do with a bit more elastic as very soon after putting them on they are rolling down, and the gusset ends up midway down my legs! Npt a good look!
Katie Barnes on 12 September 2012
Nice and soft, but quite pricey. They have survived 2 'wears' so far... (better than the glossy tights)
Auntie Paich on 22 August 2012
I love the plum colour. I normally buy medium tights and find the fit of the medium is fine and very comfy over the bump.
Melissa on 21 March 2012
Nice plum colour, the crotch is a bit low and cuts a bit into my thighs but this is not too much of a problem. The great news: they have not ripped for the last month or so of wear! All other maternity tights develop a hole between the legs or around the toes, that start laddering. Not this pair. They have lasted quite a few washes so I am very pleased with the quality :)
Abigail Mellor on 19 December 2011
I love the colour (plum) but there is very little support in these tights, and i find the crotch is down virtually by my knees if I'm not careful!
Charlotte on 15 September 2011
The brown and grey have just arrived. Very soft and stretchy. The large fitted my size 16 thighs easily.
Gemma on 25 November 2010
I love my plum tights. They are very soft and stretchy, and are still comfortable over a very large bump. Great at brightening up black dresses!
