Bottom line: Jo Jo is an excellent store. Sadly, the same cannot be said for this product. As other reviewers have written, the tent 'pops up' beautifully but it is virtually impossible to 'pop back'. The frame is flimsy and easily bends out of shape. Once this has happened, there is no chance of being able to collapse the tent or put it back in the bag. I have now ordered (and returned) 3 of these tents. I don't like to be beaten and sought the help of the lovely staff at the Guildford store. With my third tent, I FINALLY managed to 'pop' the tent up AND down ONCE. Spurred on by my success, we took the tent on holiday. Needless to say, I could not repeat my success and we had to carry a large tent off the beach. My husband wanted to leave it there.
I have now returned this tent and I have had to admit defeat.
Throughout this whole saga, the manageress and her team at the Guildford store could not have been more helpful or supportive. They are fantastic.

The tent is a wonderful idea but the design team need to have a rethink. I am reliably informed that the smaller tent has no such problems.

Bought on line for a family holiday. Tried it out in Garden several times with same results. Collapsed on one side in slightest breeze even when using stones and pegs to keep in shape. No use at all and tried all ways to fold with eg active results will be disposing of at local recycling centre as not even fit for charity shop. Would not wish to put someone else through same frustrations. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!

Please can you sort out the rating stars on this product as it's obviously starred higher than the comments imply and is misleading to people like me who have bought one and are disappointed with it

For the love of God, do not purchase this item. Exactly the same experience as the other reviews - the tent will not stay up if anyone so much as sighs within 100m of it, and it is ridiculously hot inside the tent if you are in it trying to prop it up. Remember to leave at least 3 hours when have had enough, to try and fail to fold the tent to get it back in the bag. Seriously....avoid it. I wouldn't buy it again if it were £1. Completely useless - I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me put zero.

Very poor quality, the structure does not hold even in the slightest breeze. I have asked for a refund, do not buy

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Bought for a beach holiday with an 18 month and 5 month old and total disaster. Easy to put up but wouldn't stay up and keep falling over. We used the pegs and rocks to keep it stable and it didn't work. It cannot cope with the slightest breeze ( not good on a beach!) and needs guy ropes or such to
Make it more secure. It collapsed on the 18 month old causing hysterics and is impossible to get back into bag. In all a total waste of money and I may as well have burnt £45 for the use it has been. Will be phoning customer service to complain about the poor quality and design.

I agree with all the posted reviews (which don't seem to correlate with the star ratings). This product is an expensive disaster. It is flimsy and folding it back into the cover defeated the efforts of all of us. Definitely a poor buy and I would not recommend it to anyone.

    DO NOT BUY

I echo what the other reviewers have said absolutely NOT fit for purpose, it won't stay up, battle to get it back in bag and to top it off when I took it back I was told I hadn't read the instructions properly and it was my fault! Had a battle to get money back! This is a dreadful product and needs to be removed from sale!

Well as regular campers we thought this should be simple to use. How wrong we were! Have spent all evening trying to master how to put it back in the bag, so we can return this family tent. It looks great up but I don't want to be still on the beach at midnight trying to collapse it. Disappointed as need to find another type before our holiday : (

As with all the other reviews, very disappointed with this and not fit for purpose. Sides collapse with a tiny bit of wind and makes it seem dangerous when baby is sleeping within. Very difficult to fold up again (we found you tube clip that helped). Tent gets v hot. Would like to return but am expecting the shop to no doubt refuse. No stars

Really wanted this to be a success. It was big enough for all of us to fit in and stay out of the sun. Furthermore, we could fit picnic things in too. However, it was impossible for us to get it back to the shape to get in the bag so reluctantly had to return it.

Total waste of money and not fit for purpose. The slighted breeze and it collapses in on itself - not ideal when trying to feed a baby. Useless at the beach where there is always a breeze.
Wish I had never wasted my money - 15 euro tents from the local supermarket were all up and doing their job next to this thing, collapsed in a heap.
And don't even get me started on how to get it back in the bag... It's going straight back as not fit for purpose.

    DO NOT BUY!!!

This tent feels very flimsy, definitely not worth £45. I opened it to check it worked and it wouldn't stay up properly. It is an absolute nightmare to fold (after 24hrs it is still up in the dining room). I want to return it but can't get it back in the bag. Rang my local store and was told "use the instructions" (which are useless) "or have a look online and see if any customers have posted tips"!!!!

While the tent was very easy to pop up, and was great giving our baby protection in the shade, unfortunately it seems to be impossible to collapse again back into the case which is very annoying!

The biggest waste of money ever, mine will be shortly going back for a refund as not fit for purpose, it will not stay up correctly and collapses under the slightest breeze. Saw someone with an older version of this on the beach and the structure was much better this current one is rubbish. Do not buy.

I got this tent for our up and coming beach holiday as it has a high SPF (I've a sun allergy as well as a 4 month old to protect), there are no poles and it's lightweight to carry - perfect or so I thought!
I've just got back from my in-shop lesson on how to get the frustrating tent back in it's bag from the wonderful staff at the Chichester branch. I was reduced to going back in-store to take them up on their original offer of a demonstration after I'd spent a ridiculous amount of time wrestling with a giant tent whilst trying to follow the pointless accompanying instructions - it was almost going to remain popped up in our shed forever!
I'm also not overly impressed with the quality as the edges on our brand new tent look frayed which is worrying for the price paid. If you're going to buy this tent in-store and are offered a demo - take it! If you're buying online and in the absence of an up to date help video, you'd better have a ton of patience!

The tent is a good idea and kids like it, however,

    a) it is VERY hot in the tent
    b) it is next to impossible to fold
