This is the first Jojo Maman product I have not been happy with. The trousers fit very well when initially tried on and then shrank slightly after the first wash and are now tight around the thighs and bottom. The fabric is quite itchy and not really suitable for hot weather. They are also very long and I cannot wear them with flat shoes without them dragging on the floor. I wouldn't recommend these trousers.
  • lisa norman on Tuesday, April 22, 2014
I love these trousers they are so comfortable I've got them in both navy and white and would recommend to anyone they wash really well
  • Eleanor lambert on Wednesday, April 09, 2014
These are great, I'm only 12 weeks but normal trousers are too tight already. These trousers fit now and I am confident they will also fit when I'm massive. They also look great.
  • Vicki on Tuesday, April 08, 2014
Love them!! Perfect to travel in and really comfy - have struggled to find any trousers that I could happily spend all day wearing until I bought these. Size good - go for your normal pre-pregnancy size. Perfect for summer...if we get one!
  • Inga on Tuesday, April 01, 2014
Ordered these in size 8 originally (white) I was size 8 pre-pregnancy and having ordered a few items from the website thought these might be as generously cut. Had to reorder in 10. The fit beautifully, and are quite flattering. I love linen trousers bit usually straggled to find the right pair even before pregnancy, so was pleasantly surprised with these.
  • Anna Haggarty on Wednesday, March 12, 2014
Great quality and great fit - very comfortable. I struggle to find trousers long enough but these are fine. Would recommend.
  • Karleen on Tuesday, March 11, 2014
Ideal for keeping fit in late pregnancy. Comfortable good elastic waist and good colour.
  • Rachel on Monday, February 17, 2014
    Lovely smart trouser. Very comfy.
  • Kathryn on Friday, August 30, 2013
I have these in blue and black. Returned the white because the material was too see-through. I purchased size 14 and before my bump expanded (now 28 weeks) they stayed up. In the past few weeks I have had problems with them falling down - not great when running (ahem!) for the bus. Luckily my Mum is a whizz with a needle and thread and has added extra elastic into the bump band at the back and they now stay in place. The material is nice and soft and they've been great during this warm summer.
  • Nora on Monday, August 26, 2013
Like other reviewers, I did not like these at all. Even for my large bump, the band is far too loose and the trousers constantly fall down, especially when chasing my active toddler. They did feel nice in the hot weather.
  • Louise Bowers on Wednesday, August 14, 2013
Very roomy trousers, nice and comfortable but would be even better if they had pockets.
  • Roxy on Friday, August 09, 2013
Lovely trousers, light and comfortable, tiny bit see-through but not really noticeable.
  • SoonToBeMum on Sunday, August 04, 2013
Very cool and comfortable in this heat - not very see through so can wear to work. Bump band could be a little more snug, but I would definitely recommend.
  • Weeze B on Tuesday, July 23, 2013
Really nicely fitting trousers - I'm usually a 12-14 and the 12 is a perfect fit and they are nice and light and just the right length. Looking forward to ordering more colours soon!
  • Helen on Monday, July 22, 2013
Very comfortable and well-made. Pleasantly surprised by the length - I am 6' with a 34" inside length and these were long enough for me.
  • Jenny Stewart on Friday, July 19, 2013
These should be nice lightweight trousers for summer but I have the same problem as some other reviewers - they keep slipping down whenever I walk anywhere. I got a size 12 (which is what I was pre-pregnancy) and at 35 weeks pregnant the bump band is still fairly loose and doesn't stay up. I am measuring spot on for dates, so it is not as if I am particularly small. It means they are comfy enough to wear around the house or garden, but I am reluctant to wear them out as I am constantly adjusting them. Interestingly I have no such problems with the cropped trousers also bought from JoJo in the same size.
  • mrsp on Tuesday, July 16, 2013
Good item although stitching on band came undone after one wash. Comfy in hot weather
  • bernie dickens on Monday, July 08, 2013
really comfy and very generous size, i went for the 12 and its plenty big enough even though i would be between a 12 and 14 pre pregnancy.
  • Kate on Monday, July 08, 2013
Love these trousers. Bought them 2 months ago and have worn them constantly since. Great for work and play. Wash well. Really comfortable.
  • Caro Munroe on Monday, June 24, 2013
I have bought two pairs of linen trousers- they are a great fit and really good quality- nice to find good value maternity wear that is also stylish and made from high quality fabrics.
  • Fiona on Monday, June 24, 2013
Comfy and generously fitting, though a little long (and I am quite tall) so I had to take them up. Will be good for the last few summery months of this pregnancy.
  • Lindsey on Monday, June 24, 2013
Lovely trousers, very comfy. I wish that they had pockets, could have chosen a shorter length as I've turned them up slightly and the drawstring does give a bump on the body, but much nicer than any other maternity linen trousers.
  • Rachael A on Wednesday, June 19, 2013
I bought 2 pairs of these in a size 12 as a staple summer item I could wear for work or casually. The size of the trousers is generally good. However, I am now 27 weeks pregnant (and measuring 27 weeks pregnant) and the bump band will just not stay up, which is incredibly irritating. I even wonder why these trousers have a bump band at all, as they are summer trousers. I bought some under the bump linen trousers 3 years ago from Next and they were much better. I am also annoyed that it is not possible to purchase the trousers in a petite length as I have had to pay to get both pairs shortened.
  • Sarah on Monday, June 17, 2013
Bought these trousers in my pre pregnancy size (8) which did fit perfectly at 20 weeks. I am sure the band would have fit me all the way to 40 weeks but I was concerned that my hips wouldn't fit easily as there is no zip to allow for a little extra room. Swapped for a size 10 which also fit well so now I use the pull cords to fasten them a little tighter. Really happy with this buy
  • Sarah Stanley on Thursday, June 13, 2013
I love these trousers. I'm 5 months pregnant and they fit really well. I was surprised by the colour as they are more lilac than I had expected but I like them anyway. Also the waist band is made of quite baggy material rather than stretchy so I gave to wear a tight top over them to ensure they feel comfy but still really glad I purchased them, really nice cut.
  • Lynn Hopwood on Saturday, June 08, 2013
I haven't found the trousers that comfortable to be honest. I may have ordered them too late, or just the wrong size. when I stand up or walk they are falling down unless I pull the draw string quite tight. Then when I sit down even if I have the string completely untied its still really tight over the bottom of my bump. I'm hoping that they will work after the baby is born. My normal shape is wide hips and bottom with small waist and I am usually either 14 or 16 for trousers. I ordered size16
  • Nl Mcdonald on Wednesday, June 05, 2013
    Super comfy.
  • R on Monday, June 03, 2013
These trousers are really comfortable - perfect for summer.
  • Sarah Keeble on Tuesday, May 28, 2013
Wore these trousers yesterday for the first time. I am currently just over 13 weeks pregnant and there is plenty of room for the expansion of my bump and the inclusion of the crawstring enables you to adjust the fit under your bump. Very pleased with this purchase.
  • Jen on Monday, May 27, 2013
Very comfy and really like the style.
  • Susan Keys on Friday, May 24, 2013
Bought these for my daughter she loved them and said they were the most comfortable mattenity trousers she has
  • Carol on Friday, May 24, 2013
Having ordered another pair of trousers in my size (16) I was really disappointed that when these arrived, they were nowhere near to fitting round the top of my thighs. Couldn't really pull them up properly. Have now ordered and received the size 18 which are better, but they are very long in the leg.
  • Alison McDonald on Tuesday, May 21, 2013
I would not recommend these trousers. The band is a funny shape and it isn't very tight so they keep falling down. If you tighten the string enough to hold them up they are too uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time.
  • H Williams on Thursday, May 16, 2013
These trousers are exactly what I was looking for. It was good to read the other reviews about the waistband and with that in mind I ordered a size 10. I am normally 10-12. These fit perfectly. They are comfortable and keep me cool. I am sure they will be invaluable during the summer. Thank you
  • Ioanna on Thursday, May 16, 2013
Very good quality and comfortable fit
  • Katy on Tuesday, May 14, 2013
These trousers are just what I was looking for to take me through the summer at work in a hot office. They are super comfortable but smart enough when teamed with a nice top and pumps. I am sure that they will also get a lot of use at the weekend and on holiday too as they are perfect to dress down with sandals and a T shirt. I also bought them in mocha as I am sure they will become the core of my summer maternity wardrobe.
  • MB Ohlsen on Monday, May 13, 2013
Just what I was looking for, and it really wasn't easy finding linen maternity trousers! Comfy trousers that widen a bit with use, I suggest ordering a size smaller.
  • Victoria Culverhouse on Thursday, May 09, 2013
The linen trousers that I ordered are fabulous. They are so comfy and fit a treat. You were the only company who sold linen trousers with the stretchy top to cover my bump. I will recommend to everyone I know why is pregnant! Thank you.
  • D Scott on Wednesday, May 08, 2013
True to size (10), quality material. Could do with being a bit more elasticated on the bump band as they slip down a bit but this is not a major problem and I am planning to get another pair in a different colour!
  • Beckie on Wednesday, May 08, 2013
Ordered my pre pregnancy size of 14 - and they fit perfectly. The bump band is a bit big at the moment (only 18 weeks) but the draw string ensures that the trousers stay up. Would highly recommend.
  • Fiona on Sunday, May 05, 2013
The trousers are nice but the elastic band just doesn't seem to fit well. It fits nicely over my large belly but seems to gape quite a bit at the back, so I've ended up doubling the waist band over on itself which isn't ideal.
  • Rosie on Wednesday, May 01, 2013
I love these trousers, I have put some elastic in the drawcord at the back to stop it pinching me when I sit down now I am getting bigger.
  • Elizabeth Edmondson on Tuesday, April 30, 2013
Nice comfy trousers. Perfect for holidays.
  • Fiona Sinclair on Thursday, April 25, 2013
Very nice quality trousers and style, but the flabby waistband is driving me crazy as I'm constantly hitching them up. The drawstring is helpful, but as it's under my bump now, it doesn't stop the wide upper waistband from going baggy and lumpy and the trousers from slipping down. Maybe I got the wrong size, but even though I'm nearly full-term size (but 2 months still to grow with twins) I'm not sure the elastic in the waistband will be strong enough to keep the trousers in the right place, even though there will definitely be enough space to grow into. Probably ideal earlier in pregnancy when the drawstring can keep them in place more effectively.
  • Lindsey Roberts on Thursday, April 18, 2013
I love these trousers and will definitely continue to wear them after the baby arrives. My only complaint is that they could do with a little more 'give' around the waist as they can sometimes dig in when I'm sat or driving. A small panel of elastic or slightly bigger fit would have solved this.
  • Ciara Lennon on Monday, April 08, 2013
Ordered a size 10 but they were too big.
  • Molly Barraclough on Friday, April 05, 2013
These trousers were exactly what I was looking for. I bought a similar (not maternity) pair of trousers whilst travelling in Italy and love them. Now that I have my bump, these are a perfect alternative. Classy and elegantly casual, I am looking forward to wearing these on holiday next week! Generous size, but will definitely grow into them, they are very comfortable without looking at all 'slouchy'
  • Kate T on Wednesday, April 03, 2013
Ordered in natural and found them a lovely shape but a bit see through so have ordered in navy.
  • Claire on Wednesday, April 03, 2013
I bought these trousers in white. They are a nice fit and look like they will be nice and cool for the summer. The fabric is very thin though so I'll have to invest in some nude coloured knickers! They probably won't be as see through in other colours though so may try a darker pair for my work wardrobe!
  • MB on Thursday, March 28, 2013
These trousers are both extremely flattering and comfortable. They will be great for work and weekends once the weather gets better and I am sure I will purchase them in another colour too.
  • Kate Collins on Thursday, March 21, 2013
Lovely cool trousers for the (hopefully) warm summer! Loved the colour and feel of them and felt very comfortable in them too. They look good with smart tops but can be easily dressed down with a nice vest top. So pleased with them I am going to order two more pairs!
  • Claud on Wednesday, September 19, 2012
These trousers didn't work for me, just the wrong shape entirely. They felt nice, so I'm sure would be right for some pregnant ladies.
  • Lexi on Wednesday, September 05, 2012
I love these! Now have them in two colours. They are definitely on the big side around the waist (or where my waist once was!) but the drawstring keeps them up fine and I know I have plenty of space to grow into them over the coming months. Even though they're summer trousers, I'm pretty sure I'll still be wearing them around the house in autumn/winter as they're so comfy! Oddly, the cream ones seem quite a bit bigger than the black ones, even though they're supposedly the same size, but I guess a bit of variation is normal, and the drawstring adjustment means it doesn't really matter anyway. All in all, great - would definitely recommend!
  • JENNA GILLONE on Saturday, September 01, 2012
Absolutely fabulous trousers. Serached everywhere before finding these. They arecomfortable, stylish and excellent value. I now have them in 2 colours. Delivery was prompt as well. Excellent service
  • Unknown on Wednesday, August 29, 2012
Great maternity trousers - comfortable to wear.
  • Emma Thompson on Friday, August 24, 2012
Lovely linen trousers, nice quality 100 linen, fab really nice soft waistband. A little long in flat shoes but easy to hem.
  • tina skews on Wednesday, August 22, 2012
A bit of a disappointment, the elasticated waist wasnt tight enough, and seemed to get looser the longer I wore them. Spent the majority of time pulling them up.
  • Pauline Dalziel Smith on Thursday, August 02, 2012
Lovely feel to the trousers, they are quite big but good once you get bigger as I am now! Definitely best for third trimester but keep you nice and cool in heat but warm when chilly.
  • Kim C on Friday, July 20, 2012
Good basic wardrobe item. Bought usual size 12 - they are quite big both in the waist and the leg, but at 23 weeks, I'll definitely grow into them! These will definitely last until the baby is born.
  • Debbie Allsop on Monday, July 16, 2012
nd she is pleased with the drawstring because it means that she can wear them longer.
  • katie on Monday, July 09, 2012
Comfortable fit a little big around the extra waist band but at 29 weeks will certainly grow into them. Would highly recommend for summertime
  • Unknown on Wednesday, July 04, 2012
Really comfortable great size ( I ordered my normal size 10) and lots of room to grow.
  • Naomi on Tuesday, July 03, 2012
Really comfortable trousers that will last as my bump gets bigger. They are very wide in the leg though and I am having to take them up a lot as at 5ft5in they are far too long (could you start doing trousers in two lengths?). Despite this, I am really pleased with them as they are so comfy!
  • Libby on Sunday, July 01, 2012
So lovely to find a nice well fitting, generously cut pair of linen trousers in interesting colours. Very pleased with them. Versatile enough for work and leisure, so an excellent buy. I shall be back for a second pair.
  • Esther on Tuesday, June 26, 2012
Poor fitting, need possibly an elastic acted waist. Or more shapely fit.
  • Julia on Sunday, June 24, 2012
The first time I tried these on they looked terrible - really tight across the bottom. However I persevered and they have stretched and look fine now. I got them in a size 12 which is the size that most other JoJoMamanBebe clothes fit me in. I have to say that now I'm really happy with them, they're really comfy and look great and I can see myself wearing them next Summer after the baby as well.
  • Amy on Thursday, June 21, 2012
Fantastic item, I'm so pleased. This is the trouser that will see you through from small bump to big bump! No other maternity trousers have felt so comfortable due to the relaxed jersey waistband. Thank you!
  • Gemmat on Tuesday, June 19, 2012
Good basic for summer, washes well and are comfortable, similar look to many high st linen trousers. Some comments have mentioned the tie on waist to be too tight I find this to be a great feature as it stops the trousers falling down- a problem I have found with other mat trousers! The bump band on all jojo trousers I have brought is very soft which I really like but could understand if some people thought they were not supportive enough- I don't mind having to pull them up occasionally!sizes come up big
  • Linde on Sunday, June 17, 2012
Great trousers - both for work and casual. Works perfectly with the bump.
  • Kate Curran on Friday, June 15, 2012
I've started wearing these at 20 weeks with a small bump, and they are great - other trousers keep falling down, but these have a tie at the waist which you can pull tight and keep them in place without feeling uncomfortable. Blue looks more royal than navy to me, but it's smart and goes with lots of things.
  • Sarah Hopkins on Friday, June 15, 2012
These trousers are lovely, I bought a pair in white and they are not see-through which is a bonus. Very comfortable high level waist band which will support even at the 9 month stage. Lovely wardrobe basic for the summer.
  • Liz on Thursday, June 14, 2012
I really like these trousers, but I ordered them in white and they are (perhaps predictably) a bit see through. They also come up quite long - I am average height and they drag slightly on the floor, but that may change as my bump gets bigger!
  • Joanna moss on Wednesday, June 13, 2012
I found the linen trousers a staple for summer. And they are so comfortable they are a must buy for any mum 2 b
  • Rose on Wednesday, June 13, 2012
I think these are great. Very good quality and, unlike the other reviewers, I think the brown is as displayed. I agree with most people about the size - they are roomy (how they'd ever be tight around the thighs is beyond me...!) and have very wide legs so I washed them before I wore them as they were so wide! I would suggest going a size down if you're on the small side of your size and bear in mind that you may need to get the wonder web out if you're short. It's worth it though - I was delighted to actually get a pair in brown. Being a pale-skinned redhead, black and white are absolute no-nos! x
  • Sarah Adams on Monday, June 11, 2012
Great for the later stages of pregnancy but as a reasonably 'big' 6 month pregnancy had to keep pulling them up. The brown colour isn't quite as it appears in the picture - would probably choose a different colour if I were to buy them again. Overall very good trousers for hot weather.
  • Helen Jones on Monday, June 11, 2012
Very comfortable and flattering. A bit long on me (5' 4") but easy to shorten if you know how! Recommended for the warmer summer days, wherever they have gone.
  • LJS on Monday, June 11, 2012
Comfortable to wear, but a little large at the moment for me at 17 weeks pregnant I'm sure I'll be growing into them soon.
  • Tamarin on Sunday, June 10, 2012
Gloriously comfortable and smart enough to wear to work! Quite loose fitting on the baby stretch band, but I managed to get used to that quite quickly. I ordered Mocha and they are probably closer to a muddy mauve - which I think is rather lovely.
  • Carolanne on Saturday, June 09, 2012
Lovely fit, very comfortable on my bump.
  • caroline on Thursday, June 07, 2012
a bit long. I took them up and I'm a pretty standard 5ft 6". Very comfy though and they look lovely
  • Nic on Thursday, June 07, 2012
These are big! I had to order the size down from normal and then take up the hem....but now I have the perfect pair of linen trousers
  • Rachel Prowse on Wednesday, June 06, 2012
Nice trousers, quite thin material, good length not too short or long and goes ok with either flats or heels. Only gripe with them as per other reviews is that they are rather tight around top of thigh area when sitting down, other than that a nice pair of trousers for summer.
  • Geraldine on Friday, June 01, 2012
Exactly what I was looking for. Very comfy. Easy to dress up or down. Sure I'll be wearing them all summer.
  • Lucy on Friday, June 01, 2012
Very comfy trousers, keep me very cool on the daily commute! On the down side the elasticated waist is ineffectual, and was baggy by the end of one day wearing so I was reliant on the tie to keep them up but I have remedied this by adding my own wide elastic to the stretchy waist band - now they are great!
  • Sarah Morrison on Monday, May 28, 2012
A comfortable ans stylish pair of trousers, which work nicely in the early stages of needing maternity wear.
  • Hels Bels on Friday, May 25, 2012
I haven't taken these trousers off since I bought them! Very comfortable and versatile. Equally suited to the office and going out in the evening or at the weekend. Great fit and length and high quality.
  • Juliet on Friday, May 25, 2012
These linen trousers are my perfect maternity trousers! Being a first-time (very tall!) pregnant lady it had been quite difficult to find clothes to fit from other shops and websites. These trousers are very long, extremely comfortable and beautifully elegant. I can't recommend them highly enough.
  • Katy on Thursday, May 24, 2012
Great for work and casual. Very comfy and adaptable - I went a size down to a 12 nod thy are a good fit
  • Anna H on Thursday, May 17, 2012
These trousers are a great fit - make sure you buy your pre-pregnancy size as they are made to do this. I loved them so much I bought them in Navy and Black....and now I practically live in them.
  • Anne's Mum on Friday, May 11, 2012
Bought for my daughter - expecting twins, and becoming increasingly depressed that none of her current trousers could keep pace with the rate of growth of her bump! These trousers look (and, I'm told, feel) comfortable, but unfortunately the top band does not provide adequate support on its own to prevent them from slipping down when active, so she has had to compensate by using a separate, more substantial, band on top. Another disappointment was that the only length available (31") was too long now that she has reverted to flat shoes. However, they did turn up easily and neatly with invisible thread, and she is making good use of them now.
  • Abbi Gutierrez on Tuesday, May 08, 2012
These trousers are great for work and I like that they have a drawstring which means you can adjust them to for a smaller bump (i'm 24 weeks).
  • Giedre on Saturday, May 05, 2012
Very nice and comfortable trousers. I was size 12 before pregnancy and as I added some weight I ordered size 14 which was far too big so I changed to smaller size and it is perfect. Changing process was easy, the ladies in a shop were extremely nice and helpful! I recommend to wash the trousers before wearing as it makes fabric much softer and the trousers look and feel fantastic!
  • Tamie Matthews on Monday, April 30, 2012
Great for the weekends, wash and wear without ironing which is the best bit.
  • tasha on Thursday, January 05, 2012
Not sure if I would recommend. The linen part is lovely, just like any linen trouser but the elastic band just doesn't quite seem right. Had to rely on the pull tie to hold them up! Needs a rethink on the design and/or material. You need to wear a loose top if they are to look nice.
  • Holly on Tuesday, June 28, 2011
These trousers are lovely. I bought them for work and wear them all the time. A nice large band to cover bump and loose legs.
  • Mum to be on Sunday, June 12, 2011
These are really unflattering on me - tight at the top and enormous at the bottom making me look like an elephant! The Mocha colour I bought also wasn't what I was expecting from the website photos, it was not a nice shade of brown!
  • Jane Newman on Friday, May 20, 2011
Not a great fit. The top of the linen part is cut too tight. Having read other reviews, I sized up, but they're still uncomfortable, and the jersey panel is very big proportionately to the trouser.
  • Aby on Sunday, April 10, 2011
Perfect summer trousers, excellent quality linen
  • Second time mum on Saturday, April 09, 2011
These are just a bit too tight around the top of the thighs for me when I sit down - a real shame as they are good quality fabric
  • aine mccullough on Monday, March 14, 2011
Happy with these linen Trousers (Navy), thicker material than I had expected, they are true to the images shown.
  • First Time Mum on Monday, March 07, 2011
Really lovely looking trousers and nice fit for walking around, however, when you sit down to drive or to work in the office, they do not allow enough space for your tummy to move forward, the fabric digs in around your groin and top part of your legs - very uncomfortable - I am size 8. I am thinking of ordering a bigger size but the bigger size might be too big when walking around but possibly fine when sitting down. There is also a tightening waistband that does not have enough strech and it digs in...so overall I am really disappointed and have wasted my money as I can not wear the trousers when sitting down.
