Great product, our daughter loved this and really helped settle her to sleep. She would break out of a regular swaddle blanket as she like sleeping with her arms up. This works perfectly.
  • review score 5 Danielle michael on 20 July 2016
Fantastic product. My son wouldn't sleep without being swaddled but didn't like his arms being so restricted by his sides. So we found this and he loves it and sleeps like a dream.
  • review score 5 Gill on 19 July 2016
Lovely light and soft material and snug fit has made getting my colicky baby off to sleep much easier.
  • review score 5 Sirah on 11 July 2016
I was a bit unsure about this swaddle because of the unusual appearance and how restrictive I thought I would be for the baby, but bought on a recommendation. It's been great - no more flailing of arms which previously woke him up and really easy to manoeuvre around night time nappy changed with the 2 way zip. Only a week in, but it seems to have done the trick !
  • review score 5 Katie Sz on 11 July 2016
This is 1 tog so great for summer. Good sleeping bag/swaddle combination. Allows some arm movement so baby can self soothe. Double zip makes nappy changing easier in the night. I would buy again!!
  • review score 5 Stacey Nobbs on 23 June 2016
Love this product. The material is very soft. I can see that it's comfortable and my daughter seems happy wearing it. I'm not quite sure what the opening on the back is for but to be fair I haven't looked into it.
The double zip is very useful, as you can do a nappy change without disturbing them.

My 4 month old son has severe eczema on his face but likes to self soothe with his hands in his mouth. He was becoming too strong to swaddle so this is the perfect compromise, letting him have some freedom without letting him scratch himself. It comes up a bit small so we ordered the larger size which was perfect. The material is lovely and soft too. I would definitely recommend this product.
  • review score 5 Katie on 27 May 2016
Our baby loves this swaddle as it stops him from flapping about under blankets but he can still suck his 'wing', which helps to settle him. Plus, the baby/moth hybrid look is pretty funny.
  • review score 4 Laura Rippington on 26 May 2016
Good product, didn't work for us though.
  • review score 5 Sarah on 18 May 2016
Good swaddle that let's my baby still sleep with his arms up, definitely helps him sleep settled for longer. Product arrived quickly from jojo's with free delivery which makes a welcome change.
  • review score 5 Claire on 13 May 2016
    Lovely item and washes well
  • review score 5 Jenny on 09 May 2016
This has been amazing for helping my son sleep since he was 4 weeks old. We tried swaddling using blankets but it was very difficult to get them tight enough and he kept waking himself up waving his arms and legs. Now he will sleep for 6.5 hours without waking.
  • review score 5 Charlotte Smith on 06 May 2016
The love to dream swaddle is a great sleeping bag to keep your baby cosy and warm. I bought this sleeping bag as my little girls hands seemed freezing cold on a morning and we had trouble with her waking up as we put her down to sleep. The swaddle allows baby to move arms but keeps her hands nice and warm.
It has definitely helped with putting her down to sleep too, as she is able to soothe herself to sleep. Been swaddled means that she doesn't turn over onto her tummy so easy allowing her to drift off to sleep on her side or back (which gives me peace of mind).
  • review score 5 Carly on 06 May 2016
Love this! Bought for my 4 week old and he is getting longer and better sleep using this
  • review score 4 Suzy on 03 May 2016
Definitely a useful purchase. Helps DS to settle himself and keeps him snug and cosy. He does look like a mutant dolphin human hybrid though...
My only concern is what happens next, how do I transition to arms out?
  • review score 5 Katie on 15 March 2016
My lo loved being swaddled when he was born and as he was getting older he got out of his wrapped swaddled so when he was 2 months old I brought this and the first night I got 6 hours and a few night 9 hours and now we have a nice routine of set awake and sleep time. Even got the bigger size up as he got past 3 months. Highly recommend
  • review score 4 Addy on 14 March 2016
Good quality product, but did not work for our baby, because the material is quite stretchy which allowed him to reach his head and ears, something we wanted to avoid. Nevertheless we returned the product to one of our local JoJo Maman Bebe shops and the staff there were very helpful and kind. We swapped it for something else.
  • review score 5 Joanna Taylor on 08 March 2016
Lovely soft material and a good fit. Didn't work for my baby as it isn't a true swaddle with the arm sections so it didn't stop the startle reflex and he still kept waking himself up by hitting his face in his sleep! Nice idea though.
  • review score 5 Lucy Honey on 02 March 2016
After needing to move on from traditional swaddling, as my baby seemed to be able to wiggle free no matter how firmly I did it! We needed to find a new way of keeping her arms from flapping... This is great!! Not only does she like the position of having her arms up, her legs are free to wriggle around too. Added bonus, she can't accidentally scratch herself at night too. Love it so much I'm ordering the next size up in readiness!!
  • review score 5 Gemma MacKenzie on 01 February 2016
Amazing item! My baby was getting too big to be swaddled so thought I would try this out and it works a treat! Stops babies startle reflex but also allows them to self soothe.
  • review score 5 Karolina on 28 January 2016
This is the second size Im buying. Works great for nap times. Helps my little one sleep longer.
  • review score 5 Cat on 18 January 2016
We bought this for our 14 week old and it's amazing! She got to the point where she would wriggle out of a swaddle at 8 weeks so we moved to a sleeping bag, but we found she kept waking herself up by clasping her hands and twiddling her fingers. The Love to Dream has been a wonderful halfway point, as she's happy that her hands aren't stuck by her sides, but she can't get them together to wake herself up. Love it!
  • review score 5 Louise on 18 January 2016
We have used the love to dream swaddle since day one and bought the next size up as our baby grew. My baby loves it, he is comfortable, cosy and able to move his arms and legs. It washes well.
  • review score 5 Tera on 18 January 2016
Like many of the reviewers before me, this swaddle/sleepsuit has been amazing. My daughter *hated* to be swaddled up with blankets, but she kept startling herself in the night. So, in a bit of desperation, we bought this garment. After we started using it, my daughter (6 weeks at the time) went from sleeping 3 hours to 5-6 hours at a time. I don't know if this was a coincidence, but I suspect the swaddle helps to keep her from startling herself in her sleep. She really likes to flap her arms about, and the swaddle is the perfect way to let her keep her arms up and mobile, but prevents her from hitting herself in her sleep. It's very well made and washes nicely. We're already on our second one of these (we bought the next size up), since she's outgrown her smaller one.
  • review score 5 Jenny on 04 January 2016
We were recommended this as our daughter was wriggling out of her swaddle blanket.

She has taken to it very well and has lovely calm sleeps now with no interruptions from waking herself up with motor reflex

  • review score 5 Fifi on 01 January 2016
Our baby hates to be swaddled as he likes his hands to be close by. This suit is perfect, he feels safe and comforted and because he doesn't startle while he's in it, his sleep has significantly improved.
  • review score 5 Sophie on 30 December 2015
Have the full range for my daughter but only discovered when she was 3 months so started on the 50/50 (which is also amazing). Bought this for my newborn son. Have 3 other swaddles and he settles much better in this swaddle and sleeps for longer. It's easy to put on too. We therefore love it!
  • review score 5 Sandra on 22 December 2015
Absolutely love this product would highly recommend, baby has alot more room to manoevers then in a gro bag and as she loves to chew her hands, she can reach them in the wee flippers, so doesn't feel restricted, def more natural for her then swaddling and I feel she sleeps better
  • review score 5 Unknown on 08 December 2015
Wonderful purchase. Baby sleeps so well in it because he can still get his hands to his mouth and he no longer struggles at night to get his hands out from the normal swaddle position. Love it. Will be getting the next size up too.
  • review score 5 Sarah Green on 08 December 2015
This is the second one of these I've bought because my 8 week old sleeps so well in them! Right from day one she slept much more soundly in this. It's nice lightweight fabric so you can adjust what they wear underneath to suit the temperature, and it washes well.
  • review score 5 Katy on 03 December 2015
Perfect for little one - easy to use and protects from waking himself up with startle reflex
  • review score 5 Angela on 30 November 2015
Fantastic. Our little ones were fighting out of their swaddling blankets and disappearing underneath which was so frightening, but unswaddled they would startle and wake up frequently. This is the perfect solution and we are so grateful we found them! Our twins already slept with their arms in this position so it feels natural. Worth buying a spare suit though as our love to chew their hands through the suit and it can't be tumble dried!
  • review score 4 Anonymous on 27 November 2015
I bought this for my grandchild who already had a swaddle product but I liked the look of this one as she would be able to move her arms more and my daughter needed another one. The baby was happy in this one but did not settle as well. Maybe she needs to get used to it!
  • review score 5 MTAllen on 21 October 2015
Great fit, comfy material and allows baby just enough movement to soothe himself back to sleep.
  • review score 5 Joanna on 06 October 2015
This is a great product! My little boy has been sleeping much better since I bought one. It keeps then warm and secure and allows for a comfortable nights sleep.

Easy to change nappy in the night without disturbing them too much and no need to remove when feeding either.
    A definite must!
  • review score 1 rebecca m on 21 September 2015
We've been swaddling our 10 week old baby since birth and he'd starting wriggling out of it and waking himself up. We opted for this due to the reviews but found that suddenly trying to get him to sleep with his arms up when we'd been pinning them down for weeks didn't work for us, he was awake within minutes and wouldn't settle. Back in the swaddle and he was asleep in no time. So, great for many but sadly not for us.
  • review score 5 Victoria N on 16 September 2015
Love this swaddle! Especially when the baby gets too big for wrap around swaddles. It helps the baby sleep as they can't startle themselves awake! I use a blanket on top of the swaddle in cold weather, so suits all seasons I think. Great invention!
  • review score 5 Lindsay on 21 August 2015
I bought the love to dream swaddlenin a recommendation. It has been fantastic and has allowed my son (10 weeks) to use his hands to self soothe whilst keeping the startle reflex controlled. He settles well when put to bed in the swaddle and I feel it makes him feel secure, but less restricted than a traditional swaddle. It's also really lightweight so perfect for a warm evening.
  • review score 5 Georgia on 09 August 2015
Love this for my son dont use it everynight but when hes haveing a off night and won't settle he likes his arms up so hates being in a traditional swaddle so this works brilliantly
  • review score 5 Ciara Sheenan on 23 June 2015
The love to dream swaddle is a godsend. My son constantly flaps his arms around in his sleep and wakes himself up so this is brilliant for him. It's nice and tight which helps to keep him calm and he can still keep his arms where he likes them. I highly recommend it.
  • review score 5 Annabel on 24 May 2015
Simply wonderful. Since using our daughter has improved her sleep at night considerably. Thank you !
  • review score 4 Katherine Bedford on 15 May 2015
My son sleeps well in this, he is cosy and doesn't startle. He seems to be more comfortable in this swaddle than in a blanket with his hands and arms down.
  • review score 2 Caroline on 16 April 2015
Returned this item because my son at 6/7 weeks really didn't like it so returned to traditional method of swaddling him with a giant muslin. Perhaps if we had used this since birth he would have got on better with it as I have other friends who's baby's really like it. Product seemed well made but expensive for £20.
  • review score 2 H Wills on 02 April 2015
I was really looking forward to trying this as my baby girl was breaking out of swaddle blankets and as she had a strong startle reflex I thought this would be the answer!
Regrettably, despite the fact that she was at the minimum recommended weight for the size small, the swaddle was too narrow for her arms and shoulders and she hated it as soon as I put her in it.
    Regrettably had to return.
Can see why other reviewers have liked it though. Product seemed well made and very soft. Just not right for my baby.
  • review score 5 Jim on 19 March 2015
Our 5 week old daughter was an absolute nightmare at bedtime and would not be swaddled for love nor money. We decided to try this suite and WOW the first night she slept for 3-4 hours at a time between feeds. Previously she would last 15-20mins tops before waking and screaming down the house! My wife and I would recommend this to anyone struggling at night.
  • review score 5 Philippa Vince on 21 February 2015
Although looking like part dolphin part baby this has been the best thing I've purchased for my baby. He was waking up with startle reflex and becoming so awake he would want to feed. He fought his way out of a variety of swaddling to get his hands in his mouth or near his head.
We have had dramatic results within 3 weeks at age 3 months he was sleeping through from 6.30pm till 7am with only two feeds. He does occasionally need a dummy as he can find it frustrating to get his hand in his mouth however I was getting up a few times to put a dummy in but now it's only once or never and he doesn't need a dummy to sleep.
I put two blankets on him, socks, long sleeved vest and a babygro because it's slightly colder here at the minute than in Australia where it's made, and the room temp drops to 13 degrees whereas the recommendation is for 19. My baby has stayed warm and cosy but not too hot,
    Fabulous design and product.

The week we bought this my 9 week old son was sleeping for 20mins-1 hour and then waking every time - thrashing in his sleep and waking himself up. We tried swaddling but he likes to sleep with his hands beside his head, the first night he wore this he slept for 5 hours! it helps him get past the initial light sleep into deeper sleep and is a total life saver. It does look bizarre though, i felt mean zipping him into it but he doesnt seem to mind at all. Im recommending it to everyone!
  • review score 5 Jeanette on 21 January 2015
The small size fits my 11lb baby quite snugly. It would've been too big for her when she was born (6lb 4) She really enjoys having her arms up and being able to suck her hands. The fabric is quick drying which means I can wash it in the morning and it will be dry again for use that night. Delivery was very efficient.
  • review score 5 Kathryn on 03 January 2015
I love this product, we have just bought the large size after our daughter slept so well in her original smaller one. They allow a little more natural movement than a swaddle but still give the snugly benefit of a swaddle and prevent jerky arm movements waking little ones. I will be buying more a gifting presents for new mums. Only wish there was a variety of fabrics available
  • review score 5 Ben Turner on 16 December 2014
Our 10wk old baby kept waking himself up by waving his arms around when asleep. We were recommended by a friend to try a 'Love to Dream Swaddle' bag and we've had a lot less late night wakings since. He feel secure and snug in the zip up bag but still able to comfort himself and suck his fist...an all round happier baby and parents!
  • review score 5 Linda on 13 December 2014
These are great wish I'd discovered sooner. My 6 week old was escaping his swaddle and starting to find his hands. I bought a second so I could wash them. There's lots of length left on my 11 week old (who is tall but slim) in the small). Only gripe is I selected royal mail delivery which said 2-3 days; it took 3 days to despatch so arrived a week after I ordered.
  • review score 4 Lizzie Fletcher on 02 December 2014
I bought this as my 3 month old has a strong startle reflex and wakes herself in the night by flailing her arms around. So far tonight she has gone down to sleep without stirring. I think the 'wings' are a little tight, although I have bought the 3-6 month size, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind. Fingers crossed the night continues to go well!
  • review score 5 Joan on 11 November 2014
This is our second love to dream swaddle, bought it in case th first one is washed and still drying. My baby loves it, sleeps for a few hours without a stir. Highly recommend it!
  • review score 5 Anna on 01 October 2014
Fab swaddle, my baby likes to sleep with his hands up and so loves this! It also allows him to self soothe by sucking on his wings.
  • review score 5 Ali on 10 September 2014
This is brilliant, I have bought it in mediums and larges now and always two of each so I can wash easily too. Also bought the transition for moving to sleeping bag when he's a bit older. Absolutely great. Does come up on the small side.
  • review score 5 Lauren on 21 August 2014
We bought this when our son was 12 weeks as he loves being swaddled. I had purchased a swaddling blanket before but he always wriggled free and pulled it over his face. This has been excellent and allows him to move his arms but still has the comfort and security he enjoyed from being swaddled. I would recommend this to anyone!!
  • review score 5 Tara Hearson on 09 August 2014
Definitely rate this product, it is much easier to use than a traditional swaddle (which my son often wriggled out from!) and he sleeps for a lot longer than when using a sleeping bag or similar bedding. It is also lightweight enough for the summer but when the evenings get cooler an additional blanket can easily be used over the top. 10/10!
  • review score 5 Karina on 06 August 2014
Fantastic item, my 6 week old has been in this since birth and the minute he goes in it it's like he knows it's bedtime! He sleeps so well in it because it prevents him from wriggling around and hitting himself in the face, it keeps him all snug and still and u don't need blankets, looking to buy him the next size up! Definitely get one!
  • review score 5 Darshana on 21 July 2014
Purchased as a gift for a friend. She is over the moon. Would recommend. Loved it very much.
  • review score 5 Emma on 16 July 2014
The SwaddleUp is perfect for my three month old. It's not a binding as the traditional swaddles I've been using until now - he's starting to grow out of many of them anyway - but stops him from flinging his arms around in his sleep. The elasticity of the cloth means he can sleep in a more natural position too turns out he likes to sleep with his knees up and falling outwards! Best of all, he can self-soothe, chewing his hands through the cloth, so he falls asleep faster too.

great swaddle. just a shame you dont do the lite version as well for hot summer nights
  • review score 5 JR on 18 June 2014
Great product - my daughter doesn't kike her arms to be swaddled but kept waking herself up with the blanket so this wqs perfect. She sleeps so soundly now :-)
  • review score 5 Jo on 10 June 2014
There are no two ways about it, this swaddle looks weird. It is, however, genius. Not only does the concept of the design actually work (hello sleep!) but the item is extremely well-made and practical. Highly recommended for any babes who don't like their arms pinning down in a conventional swaddle.
  • review score 5 alison on 27 May 2014
Love these wee swaddles/sleeping bags and my baby loves them too. Used them from day 1 and he has been very comfortable and slept well with them. We only use them at night, bottom zip great for nappy changing
  • review score 5 Hannah on 29 April 2014
Brilliant. Keeps my daughter feeling snug and safe and gave everyone a better nights sleep!
  • review score 0 Emma on 24 April 2014
A friend recommended this swaddle and it's been fantastic, we had been previously swaddling with a muslin blanket which our little one just used to wrestle out of every time. He loves this new swaddle, he feels secure and cosy and makes it easy for him to self sooth with his hands in the wings. I've already purchased another for a friend who's pregnant.
  • review score 0 Sona on 23 April 2014
Such a great product that I purchased the next size up! My little boy had eczema and scratched relentlessly at night. Despite trying scratch sleeves (which are great for him during the day) they did not stop him rubbing his face at night. This however, makes him work for a scratch and when he's tired he soon gives in. It is also amazingly safe and comfortable and I've not had to use a sheet/blanket with it. My little one has the freedom of being able to move around but is also swaddled in such a way that it comforting, soothing and enables him to sleep safely.
  • review score 0 Elspeth on 19 April 2014
This has been one of the best things we bought our baby boy. After a week of him only sleeping on me we discovered this and he has gone into his cot ever since. Magic! He is now 12 weeks and we are about to get the love to swaddle 50 50 to transition him out of the swaddle at 4 months. I can't recommend this product enough.
  • review score 0 Mel on 11 April 2014
Love this little suit! Most of the other swaddle bags don't have little arm pouches. But this one is perfect! And super fast delivery, thanks..
  • review score 0 Steve on 07 April 2014
Probably the single best thing we have bought for our baby. He really struggled with waking himself up and poking himself in face but would kick out of traditional swaddles. He likes having his arms raised and the stretchy fabric still let's him move legs for muscle development.

Most importantly for us, he sleeps great at night.

This swaddle is the best sleeping aid we bough for our little boy. It's magic and our baby associates sleep with it. We were surprised to see how quickly our boy fell asleep the first time we put it on. That was the first time he slept through the night at 11 weeks. I wish I could have found abt the love to dream swaddle up earlier.
I recommend it to all my mom to be friends. It's a must have new baby item and should be part of the hospital bag.
We love it ans so does our little boy.
  • review score 0 Ryan on 10 March 2014
This is a great alternative to swaddling at night. Our little one feels safe and snug in it and we're comfortable that she wont overheat or get tangled. Very easy to get her in and out of during the night for feeding and the two way zip is useful for changing nappies too
  • review score 0 Hannah on 26 February 2014
We bought this in anticipation of the birth of our first baby who is now 3 weeks old. He loves to sleep with his hands by his face so this is perfect for him and enables him to self soothe. Our son is over 10lbs and the size small is very snug around his chest and belly so if you're buying this for an older and heavier baby, you may want to consider getting the medium. We have also purchased a medium and he is just as comfortable in that with a little more room.
  • review score 0 Claire on 19 February 2014
Delighted with this swaddle. It helped our new grandson sleep. I think this must be because he was feeling more secure.
  • review score 0 Samantha on 18 February 2014
We originally had a swaddle with Velcro fasteners but when my little girl needed to stretch out through the night it frequently came undone and woke us all up! The love to dream swaddle has been a god send. She (and us!) are sleeping much better, only waking once in the night for a feed, which is a big improvement on previous occasions. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a baby struggling to sleep through the night.

Brilliant! My baby doesn't like having his arms swaddled in so this is a fab alternative. Because his arms are contained still it does stop him flailing around and waking himself up. Buy two so you have a spare...

Love this! We'd been swaddling with a sheet but our boy would soon wriggle out of it. This swaddle seems to soothe him as soon as he is zipped up puts his fists within reach of his mouth. I am debating buying a second one.

I admit I was sceptical about this product when I first saw it, the makers convinced me to try it, having now tried it on two babies, this goes to the top of my must have list! I am replacing all my old trusty swaddles with the Love to Dream Swaddle, they allow little ones to kick there legs and no fears of clicky hips! Equally babies can still chew there fingers through the swaddle if they need to.
  • review score 0 Sel on 16 November 2013
This item is great. I was previously using the a swaddle product that velcros across the body keeping the arms in tight but it was getting too tight and short. This allows my baby boy to sleep more freely without the distraction of flying arms that he doesn't realise belong to him yet!! With him having the freedom to move his hands towards his face to self soothe I was afraid this would waken him in the night but it has the opposite effect. It has a good length to it which is ideal as he is very long for his age. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone wanting a good nights sleep for them and their baby, and I will be ordering the 50/50 as he progresses.
  • review score 0 Emily on 12 October 2013
We bought this swaddle as our 5 week old little girl doesn't like being swaddled with her arms by her side. She naturally sleeps with her hands up by her head, but startles herself if she's not swaddled.
She really likes this swaddle and sleeps really well in it (6h!!), and best of all we no longer hear her grunting as she fights to get out of an ordinary swaddle!
  • review score 0 Julie Holdcroft on 01 October 2013

  • review score 0 Mary samios on 21 September 2013
Best product ever!! Lightweight stretchy material that allows baby to kick and move to get comfortable. Love the double zip idea as well, very handy when putting a sleeping baby in the car without waking them.My son has lept longer in his swaddle than anything else. Only negative is the price, but when you are sleep deprived you don't mind paying....
  • review score 0 Sally Stewart on 05 September 2013
I came to this product quite late - baby was 12 weeks and was starting the 'thrashing phase'. I'd initially been reticent to swaddle due to hot summer and fear of over heating. Really wish I'd found these earlier though. My son settles to sleep quickly and easily every time, even when he's got teething pains or immunisation grizzles. The bag washes well and is ideal for travelling as takes up pretty much no space.

I was recomended to swaddle my baby but he sleeps with his hands in the air. Then i found this product. He loves it as can stil keep his hands in the air but being swadled which has reduced him waking from the baby shocks and keeps him warm when doing night feeds. My baby loves hi so much he sleeps through the night now
