I ordered this in a small according to the sizing guide online for both my usual dress size (8/10)and the size of my bump at the beginning of the 3rd trimester (36 inches) but have found that it only just fits around my hips with no room for expansion. Now my bump is lower (I'm currently 37 weeks) it is becoming uncomfortable to wear if I'm sitting for any period of time. I don't think I'll be able to wear it for much longer as I think it is now aggravating my leg swelling. Perhaps the sizing guide could be reviewed? That said I have noticed a benefit whilst wearing it in both making my hips feel more stable and in how much pain I feel from SPD. It feels very supportive, stays in position and the shaping would be good if you get the size correct.

Heaven is a bump band that relieves the pressure on the abdomen of twin babies from week 14. This is it. I have grown very large, very fast. It is a bit alarming to be suffering discomfort so early, when you know you have such a long way to go. So, the bump band gives you a mental boost as well as physical relief. I'm going to get a second one to never be without. A must for any multiple pregnancy.

I bought the support belt because my back was killing me. Before pregnancy I was small 8 so I chose small belt (error :)) Received really quickly, but had to return as belt was too small... Customer service was very helpful and after extra 3 days I get a medium size belt which I use every day... and my back not hurting me any more...

At around 25 weeks pregnant with twins I was getting very bad lower abdominal and back pains with the weight of my babies. My midwife recommended getting a support belt and after looking at my different types I ordered this one. The difference is amazing. When I first put it on I didn't think it would help but I was so wrong. I no longer get the terrible pains and it's very comfy to wear. I miss it so much when it's in the wash!!

I really like this maternity support belt. It gives me a real relief. I would recommend it to everyone.

I have found this belt supportive although i cannot wear directly onto skin as it cuts in and is uncomfortable at the front where the Velcro wraps across. On top of a long vest or over the bump jeans and trousers is great though.

This is a great belt. Very supportive, comfortable to wear, easy to use and made well from good quality materials. Not noticeable under most clothes. I would absolutely recommend to others.

I bought this at around 30 weeks as I was beginning to get some back ache and pain in my right hip. I found it really useful especially while I was still at work. We even managed a day round London galleries which I don't think would have been possible without the belt. I initially bought a size S but had to swap to a medium as the small did not allow for any growth although I am a size Small in other Jojo clothes.

i ordered this to see if it would help with my mid/upper back pain by supporting the bump, and it does help a lot when I'm walking about. Size wise I am 10-12 not pregnant and ordered a medium, whiich is probs a tiny bit too big in the back, but I am a very peculiar shape! It should allow for bump expansion nicely though.

Bought this online to help with severe lower back pain and ongoing PGP. Had to use my best guess as to which size to get as there wasn't much guidance on the site (I'm a size 10 so opted for small). Unfortunately I couldn't even get it done up with my big bump and ended up exchanging it in store for the Emma Jane support belt in the smallest size (10/12) which is plenty big enough, a lot cheaper and is much more comfortable. I would highly recommend it the Emma Jane belt. The online ordering process was simple and my order arrived quickly so no complaints in that respect.

Good quality belt, I am a size 10 pre pregnancy and ordered a small belt. It seems quite small (will be ok now at 4 months, but wouldn't last long) so I have returned to re order a larger size, as the belt has adjustable sides to make smaller if necessary.

Very good quality product although the small was an inch or so too small and then the medium was way too big, so unfortunately for me I was unable to benefit from this product.

From 25 weeks I started getting very bad lower back pain and so looked into the various back supports available. This one looked the best as its got high support at the back but then cuts below the bump so I ordered the medium (I'm a size 14 pre pregnancy) and I've not been disappointed. Its easy to put on and the adjustable velcro straps on each side mean that as the bump has grown I've been able to loosen the belt accordingly. I'm 28 weeks now and after wearing everyday it is starting to look a little worn from where the elastic is stretched but it still fits like a dream and really helps my lower back, would highly recommend.

I have split abdominal muscles and a PSD along with backache and this is brilliant, very comfortable and supportive when I am walking and really helps my back and pelvic pain.

I developed pain in my pelvis at approx 22 weeks pregnant and spoke to my Midwife who referred me for physio. Unfortunately there was a 4 week wait for an appointment so in the mean time I googled and discovered that a maternity support belt could help with the pain. I wasted no time and ordered one from JoJo Maman Bebe as I was recommended this by a friend. I wore it straight away and although the grinding pain is still there, the belt has most definitely helped. I washed it and it wasn't dry enough for me to wear the following day so I went to work one day without it. Big mistake! If ever there was proof that this belt works then that was the day it was proved to me. I hobbled round all day in pain and came straight home to find my belt had dried. Never have I been so thankful! It most definitely supports my pelvis. There is no doubt that this belt works and it is worth every penny! I am hoping that coupled with some physio, that my SPD/PGP will not get any worse.

Maternity Support Belt

B4761 £24.00

If you suffer from back ache then this medical grade support belt will be a blessing.

Wide and shaped 2-part support belt which helps relieve tension on the lower back and support the abdomen during pregnancy and also after the birth. It is recommended that it be worn all day but not at night. It should be tight enough to provide support but not restrict movement or blood flow.

As this is a new item for us we have asked our long term testers for some feedback:

Rebecca: The white elastic belt is the best maternity support belt I have ever worn, it's comfortable as I am carrying low, I've noticed I haven't had any back ache at all so far so that's a bonus!

India: 1st week: After a few wears I got used to the feeling of the belt, and how I liked it to be positioned. I found it very comfortable and supportive, the only thing I would say is that as my bump is quite low perhaps there should be a slight shaping/curve to the bottom of the belt for the tops of legs.

1st month and on-going use: As my pregnancy advanced and the bump got bigger the belt became much more useful, and is now a staple in my handbag. If I'm going out around town or for a walk etc, then I wear it most of the time as I really enjoy the supported feeling it gives me.

I also 'suffered' from a cluster of nerves being stretched and pressed just above my belly button which came on around 6 months and didn't go for about 8 weeks, which felt like a sharp pain, and the only relief from this was wearing the belt or lying down, so it was great for me at this time.

I still find it a very useful item, and would recommend it to anyone. I have also not suffered from any lower back pain or SPD pain, which could be down in part to the support of the belt.
