Very good value for a 50% wool coat and a nice shade of blue but it is very large for the specified size. I ordered a size 8 and I doubt I will fill it even when at the end of my pregnancy. I'm currently 25 weeks and it looks like a tent.

Nice coat for the sale price - wouldn't have been happy if paid full for it though.

Due in December, had completely given up on finding a nice winter coat that wouldn't break the bank, and that I can wear post partum too.
Was delighted with this. It is generously sized, but as a girl who was amply bosomed pre-pregnancy, this is very useful. At 50% wool, it was a bargain at full price, I was overjoyed it was in the sale. I will be hanging on to this for the next one, whenever that may be.

lovely material and fit, stylish but practical

Lovely coat with plenty of room for bump to grow. Generous sizing, I bought a size 10 and plenty big enough for a little weight gain and well as bump! Not as thick as I thought it'd be but still feel snug.

Love this jacket - will hopefully come in for the cooler months later in my pregnancy.

This is a lovely coat- lovely material and feels nice on. I followed many of the other suggestions and actually bought a size smaller than usual- it fits perfectly and there's still plenty of room to grow.
I am very happy with my coat.

Really lovely quality & a good fit. The shape will allow lots of room for my bump as it grows bigger.
Very quick delivery & no issues with ordering/service.

Just received my lovely new coat! Following other reviews I got this in a smaller size and glad I did as its still a bit big. Although we are heading into the summer and this is a winter coat im hoping to use it autumn/winter for end of pregnancy and after. Nice fit and plenty of room for growing bump.

This is a nice coat but the pockets are too shallow. The sizing seems to come out too big so I would go for a smaller than usual size.

Received the coat very quickly and in a big box so it was not wrinkled.
The coat looks nice, but I'm small and even though I ordered the smallest size 8 (I'm a size 10) it didn't look very charming. This is the reason why I returned it. If i would have had longer legs I probably would have kept it.

I regret that I didn't buy this before I reached 30 weeks. It's very comfortable and gives enough room for baby under the coat.
The only problem I had was I underestimated the size of maternity clothes. As some maternity clothes tend to be tight, I ordered 10 instead of 8, my pre-pregnant size but I think size 8 still could fit even now, 33 weeks.
Overall, I'm happy with the coat.

coat is great and very comfortable. I no longer fitted into my winter coat and had looked on many websites for something that i could both afford and really liked and this was perfect

really pleased with this coat for my growing bump, doesn't feel too flappy in the wind as only buttons half way down.

Good coat, particularly ideal for last trimester growth spurts. Certainly would be lost without it. Like all other reviewers be prepared for a very crumpled version to arrive due to very small box being used to send it. Shame as it does spoil the overall purchase.

Delighted with this coat! Was going to try and make it through this pregnancy wearing my normal coat not-done-up but was freezing after the first cold snap. This coat is brilliant, generously cut with room for layers and keeps my bump lovely and warm. Very pleased!

I got this in exchange for the Purple Swing coat which I found too unfalttering and massive. This is a great buy! Looks very stylish and well shaped. I am a 10 pre-preg but since Jojo's sizes are generous, I chose the 8 and still has room to grown for my 22week bump. I have worn it a couple of times and it is warm, I love the silky lining! I highly recommend this coat. Very reasonable price too.

I'm really happy with my warm winter coat. Fits nicely with plenty of growing room.

Lovely coat, reasonable price as it will work with most outfits throughout winter. Agree with the other reviews that you do not need to go up a size with the fit.

Great coat, did need pressing when I got it and stitching was undone in one pocket. I decided to fix myself rather than have hassle of sending back. Looks great on and plenty of room for growing bump. Nice and warm and stylish

Like other reviewers, I ordered a size smaller than I would normally be (12 instead of 14) - it's a pretty perfect size. The jacket is comfortable and roomy. Quality is good, though it's not pure wool. The pockets are in a good position to cradle your bump, if you feel it's getting a bit heavy, though the pockets themselves are on the small size (I have large hands though). I like the fact the coat will be big enough to wear with baby in a sling/carrier post-birth - while it might not fasten, I don't think this will be much of an issue unless it's seriously windy. My only niggle is that the sleeves are on the short side for me, but I am pretty tall and have pretty long arms, so it's not an uncommon problem with jackets.

Great coat, bought in September and does the job. Very comfortable fit especially in the last weeks of pregnancy.

Fab warm coat for autumn/winter. Sizing is a bit on the big size but plenty of room for growing bump.

We would like to assure customers that despite the review below this coat does in fact have pockets. It is usual for most clothing companies to provide coat or suit pockets lightly stitched together. These can be easily snipped open once you decide to keep the garment.

Nice fit around shoulders and neck. But I'm only 18 weeks and only just out growing my usual (fitted) cost. So this coat looked huge on me. I suspect it'd look good with a bigger bump, but I need a coat for now - so I've returned it.

I ordered this coat for my partner and it is a hit with her. She feels elegant despite frequently exclaiming, 'I look like a whale.' At almost seven months pregnant she at least feels a little less whale-like in her winter coat!
Originally I ordered a size 14, as she is usually this size in tops but it was far too big so I returned it for a size 12, which fits really well; so a caution that the sizes are generous. The customer service team was incredibly helpful in making sure that I got my replacement order in time for Christmas. I was really impressed with the level of assistance I received.

Very comfortable and practical. Not the most flattering of coats but warm and essential. Material feels soft and good. Looks good with bright scarf and hat.

  • review score 0 Tori on 27 November 2012
This is a lovely coat in nice fabric and it's a nice fit with slightly loose sleeves so you can wear a jumper under it. My only moan is that it has no pockets! Who designs a winter coat with no pockets? It's annoying me enough that I might return the coat...which would be a shame... But it just doesn't feel like the designer has thought this through!

I love this coat, it is perfect. There is plenty of room to grow and it is very warm. Ideal for the cold, wintry days we are starting to have. It is stylish and I wear it for work as well as everything else. I bought it at about 21 weeks, when my bump really started to get big and my old coat wouldn't do up. Really pleased.
  • review score 0 Rachel Francis on 01 November 2012
Great warm coat that looks worth much more than it costs. I am usually a size 8-10 so I ordered a 10. Its a little big at the moment but Im only 17 weeks and anticipating much more growth! There is still plenty of room for layers and thick jumpers.

Brilliant coat very warm, good shape. usually size 10 but the 8 fitted better with lots of room for bump.
  • review score 0 Lucy on 18 October 2012
Fantastic coat - warm with plenty of room for a growing bump! The colour is lovely and the fit is great too. I would definitely recommenf this coat if you are going to be pregnant over the winter time!
  • review score 0 Lucy on 16 October 2012
Nice shape but was not impressed with the fabric, also it arrived so crunched up in the box with the rest of my order that it was so terribly creased. I guess it's good value considering the price but I thought the fabric looked cheap and a bit like polyester fleece material rather than wool. I decided to return it.

Really pleased with this coat. Um-ed and ah-ed about buying a winter coat at all as I wasn't sure it was worth it for such a short time but as baby is due in Jan I thought I couldn't cope without it. Am so pleased with this coat - brilliant quality wool fabric - lovely and thick and warm. Love the slightly flared sleeves and looks nice open as well as done up. Plenty of room - I am a 12-14 while pregnany (pre pregnancy 12) and a 12 has lots of space in it for my large 6 month pregnant bump! Looks much more expensive than it is (I also used a discount code so even bigger bargain). Would recommend.
