I bought this little star projector as a gift for my new nephew as I had previously bought it for his cousin who absolutely adores it and falls to sleep with it every night.

Not cheap, but great item with optional music. Would recommend.

I bought the star light for my grandson when he was born in June and was absolutely delighted with it he loves looking at the colours and the music helps him sleep, was so happy with it I bought one for my next grandson who is due in four weeks.

Absolutely gorgeous. Stars and moon are pretty. Music and stars are mesmerising - had a very calming effect on my 9 mth old daughter she was totally zin awe of it. My almost 4 year old son is very taken with it and would move it to his room given the option. I haven't tried to get my daughter to go to sleep using it yet so not sure whether it will help from a geting to sleep perspective but so far she likes it to look at and relax with so will probably work. The music is soothing. Ispent ages researching light and music sleep aids and this appeared to be the best option as I did npt want cartoon pictures projected or stimulating music. I am pleased with my purchase

I got this for my 5 month old baby to help her settle for her nap times and when she goes to bed at night, but it wasn't as effective as I was hoping. Although it entertained her the first few times it seemed to keep her awake more than put her to sleep. I find white noise is more effective than the tune it plays. Perhaps if I had got this sooner and used it as part of her bed time routine it would have been more useful.

The star projector is great. The change of colours is lovely and relaxing, almost like breathing. The music is nice and soothing. However I returned the first projector I bought because the blue light was very faint and didn't seem to be working. When the same happened with the second unit I emailed the maker who advised me that the projector doesn't work with rechargeable batteries. It doesn't say this anywhere on the box and its really disappointing as we are a fully rechargeable battery household (and have been for years). Great projector but if I'd known I would have to buy batteries, as it doesn't run on mains either, I wouldn't have bought it. I believe there is a usb rechargeable version which I would have got instead.

Great item- smaller than I expected but great projection and music is not annoying like with most of these products (it is also optional). Music finishes after 15 minutes and lights switch off after about 45. Have used a few times but girls are still only young at 11 weeks. I expect to use it a lot more when they are in their own room.

Lovely. The projection is lovely. Just the right level of lighting and the music is soothing (although my baby prefers the whirring noise of a fan -each to their own). Good value

Like the lights changing colour and find the melody quite relaxing. It is very handy for helping my son back to sleep in the middle of the night. Only downside is that some of the 'stars' are just blobs but don't think my son minds this

Amazing and so so simple! Our son spent a long time in a special care unit with bright lights and lots of noise. Now at home in a quiet environment he struggles to sleep when it's quiet. The projector and soothing music send him off to sleep! Brilliant design & batteries seem to last well. A music for any nursery

Very happy with product. Illuminates stars onto ceiling well - my 15 month old loves looking up at them when we are getting ready for bed. I bought it in the hope that it may help him to self sooth - no such luck but you never know what the future holds. Music soothing as other reviews have stated it would have been helpful to have volume control.

Great soothing music and lights. Thought it might rotate but it doesn't. Still lovely and relaxing and our baby is called by it. Would be good to have an off button for the lights as 45 min default can waste battery.

Excellent, we tried it out in our large downstairs lounge and it filled up the whole ceiling. Was worried because of the low price the quality wouldn't be great but me and my partner couldn't be happier with this product!

I'm really pleased with the star projector; my 10 month old little boy is mesmerised by. It soothes him if he wakes in the night unhappy & has successfully gotten him off to sleep a few times when he's been a bit too wired for the normal methods to work. It's good quality, the music is pleasant

I bought this to help my 2 month old baby sleep at night and she loves it. The music is soft and soothing and the lights literally light up the whole room. It's a fantastic product and can't rate it enough

WOW! I bought this item as it had the reasurring lights and soothing music but without the tacky 'babyishness' of most nursery items. I really love the simple design and the tune is not repetitive or irritating as some can get when played night after night.

As first-time parents we're keen to make night-time a plesant experience for our baby as a happily sleeping baby equals happily sleeping parents... Thats the plan! So spending £25 on the hope of a more peaceful night is worth every penny for us.

Although baby isn't here yet, we plan to have him/her in our room for the first six months so we had a practice and turned on the projector and music when we went to bed. i was concerned at first that other reviewers said it was quite loud but we didnt find it too loud and were both able to get to sleep quite easily whilst it played. its nice to know that light sleepers can turn off the sound once baby has drifted off but keep the lights on for reassurance in case they stir in the night. Also will be useful for me when i have to get up in the night as i wont need to disturb my partner too by turning on another light. just enough light to see where you're going!

Very pleased with this purchase, would also buy it as a gift for other parents to be.

Bought this light for my Grandson for his nursery. It's lovely and soothing - keeps him calm and settled. Would recommend this for any baby. Service was great from JoJo Maman Bebe abd delivery really quick. My favourite site :)

Great light projection although the room does have to be very dark. We also looked for a volume button - thankfully it goes off after 15 minutes.

We bought this for our 2 year old who was suddenly becoming tearful at bedtime, having never had any problems settling to sleep before. It has become an exciting part of her bedtime routine and she loves watching the stars projected onto her bedroom ceiling - we listen to the music together first but switch it off before we leave the room as it's a little loud (shame no volume control). The projections stay on for 45mins and have helped to soothe her to sleep. Would highly recommend.

After a mix-up over the colour we eventually received the correct one and were very happy with it.

This is a nice item though quite expensive for what it is. Nice light and music is fine, though as a previous reviewer mentioned there is no volume control and it's a little loud for going to sleep. I like the fact that once my 1 year old has moved out of his cot this could go on a bedside table for him to use himself. I still would have liked a star display that rotates but couldn't find one suitable for a baby.

I love the product and had such fantatsic customer service from the polite team in the Brighton branch. There's always a relaxed atmosphere in the shop. Delivery was quick and ordering was simple. Will definately shop at jojo maman bebe in the future.

After much searching for a nightlight that wasn't too childish and plasticy looking, settled on this one. The lights are fab and project really well on dark walls and the music is quite nice. One thing missing is a volume control for the music (I think is a bit loud for young babies), but it can be switched off and used just as a light.

This star projector is fab, my daughter is 4 months old and loves it! It has helped her settle in her own room part of her bedtime and nap routine! The music is lovely and although it plays one tune it does not feel repetitive or annoying! I also love how it is mobile and can be placed where is suitable to project the colours! Would recommend! :)

The stars change softly from blue to green to orange, or can be fixed on one colour. Now, you can adjust the volume (2 choices). Without any cords, it can be placed anywhere in the bedroom. The Star Projector is economical and extremely practical for parents, turning off automatically after 45 minutes...so no need to get up!
