Brilliant product. Not only is it a great toilet seat but having the option of a potty that folds flat in its own bag for on the go is Amazing. The Potette has saved me from a few accidents while out and about already and I have only had it for just over a week. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is potty training.

I have the original version of the Pottette, which doesn't convert to a toilet seat, so I have just ordered the updated version for my soon-to-be potty trained 2 1/2 year old. She is very petite, so I think the fact that you can use it over a toilet will come in very handy. My original one has been used loads, firstly chucked under the pram, then when my two older children were reliably dry and able to 'hold on' for a while until we found a toilet I just put the pottette in the car for emergencies. I love the fact that the absorbent liners make disposal so easy, I have often seen mothers/childminders carrying regular potties around and do worry about what they do to dispose of the contents! I am confident that my new version of the pottette will be a worthwhile purchase!

We just took this on holiday with us and it was ideal. Put it in our bathroom in the hotel so that we didn't have to hold our daughter over the loo all the time. Lightwight, easy to pack. The bags make it a bit more 'yucky' than a conventional potty but that's the compromise.

Cheap construction but what do you expect for the price. The fold out legs need locking into place before use, otherwise your child will get trapped fingers. Warning was on separate piece of paper hidden away in some other bumpth. Once legs are locked it I tricky to unlock them, you end up pulling the leg off completely. Would use this product for emergencies only, best to try and find a loo first.

Purchased this on recommendation of a friend. Daughter woke up one day and decided she did not want to wear nappies anymore so this product has been brilliant for those caught in the middle of 'no loos' in sight moments! Will be useful to keep in the car for me too.

Very useful, would recommend lining the potty after each time you use it though as it takes a little while to do and if your child is desperate...

This potty seat has been brilliant so far. My 2 + 3/4 year old seems to find it comfortable as a travel potty and a toilet seat. He manages to go 'in' it well compared to regular pottys too. The absorbent liners are great for when out and about

Perfect for storing under the buggy or in the car if caught short.

Bought this to take on holiday, using it to convert the toilet seat for my boy. Really good as he is keen to use the toilet but like the comfort of this seat. It packed in the suitcase easily.

Seems like a brilliant idea, although I haven't managed to get my daughter to use it yet as she's been very reluctant to sit on any potty. However, I will persevere and take this everywhere with me. It's small and light and easy to use.

Bought this for my son as we are currently potty training and it is fab. I love that it is small enough to pack away during days out and also use it over the toilet. Great little invention!

Very handy for taking out and about to pop onto public toilets as a trainer seat. Fits easily into a changing bag or toddler backpack. Great for long car journeys too.
  • review score 4 Cass on 06 May 2014
I'm really pleased with this product, I've had it 2 weeks and it has come in very handy a few times already with my newly potty trained 2 year old. I was debating whether it was necessary to buy this as we could just take a potty in the bottom of the pushchair but it's very handy to be able to tie up the liner and throw away like a nappy. It's very compact which makes it easy to take anywhere. The only thing I would say is make sure you read the instructions and lock it into position properly as I wasn't doing this at first which resulted in it collapsing and trapping my child's finger.

Bought this as half way through potty training and about to spend 10days on a beach holiday.not even got on the plane yet and its already been to the zoo and an animal park! Lightweight enough to carry around, but sturdy enough to feel like a 'real potty' when used! Friend keeps hers in the boot of the car just in case. The pads in the bags seem to soak up enough to make disposal easy too. Definite peace of mind for parents!

Fantastic product, really useful for when on holiday and out and about, We took to Cornwall recently and could not have done without it on the beach, it really saves time. My sister has now borrowed it for their holiday! Easily carried about, really well designed.

Very handy product as it folds flat and is easy to take out. I also use it as a regular potty at home with the reusable liner.

A brilliant product which has been one of my best buys.Great for out and about and fits perfectly in the changing bag.

I think the pottete travel potty is brilliant. It fits perfectly into my sons small Spider-Man rucksack and the way it can be a potty or small toilet seat gives my son the choice of what he would prefer to use even when we're out and about. The only thing I have noticed is that my son sometimes complains of the wee going onto his leg when he uses it as a toilet seat but this may just be a boy issue for obvious reasons. A very good 9/10 from me.

Very good product. Used it countless times in the first few months of potty training. My daughter wasn't sure to start with, but soon was very happy. Great for holidays and just in car when on days out nowhere near a loo. Definitely recommend.

Amazing product. Best thing invented for toilet training. Perfect size for carrying around and for your loo at home. Would highly recommend. Safe and sturdy.
  • review score 0 Charlotte Jones on 12 July 2013
Really great idea, but make sure you read all the info with it first. I didn't as my daughter was so keen to use it and didn't set it up right, so it collapsed and she trapped her finger and now won't use it!

I have used this to potty train my second son. I keep it in my day rucksack with the bags so it's with us wherever we go. It's not heavy or too bulky. Initially we used it as a potty but he will use it as a seat as well. Ideally use it in a loo with a baby changer so you can put the bags in the nappy bin. It also acts as an emergency loo for my 5 year old should we ever get caught short too far from any amenities

i bought this for home and out and about use (thought would be better for my twins to get used to using one type of seat/potty) Unfortunately the 2nd time was used on the toilet it moved and a finger got trapped (not badly but enough to stop one of them wanting to use it!) - that was despite me being right beside him and having a hand on it to hold in place. Havent yet tried using it in potty form

don't leave home without one! we've used ours so much, through potty training and since - I've bought one for friends here and abroad... so practical, clean, familiar and handy

Absolutely brilliant gizmo. My daughter loves it and she hasn't been the easiest to train. Have only used it in potty format so far but it is sturdy, nice and small to carry around and easy to use. Well worth the money.

Fantastic product - so pleased to find something which doesn't take up much space (I can still fit the changing bag for my newborn under the buggy), which satisfies my toddler's pickiness of sometimes wanting to use a potty and sometimes the "big girl toilet". It feels sturdy both as a potty and a toilet seat and seems much easier (and quite frankly, more appealing!) than carrying around one of the more bulky travel potties with a waterproof "lid." Overall, me and my toddler are delighted with this and have made the whole worrying concept of venturing outside with knickers on much less stressful! Even Grandma worked out how to use it quickly when she took my little girl to the toilet!

Can you love a potty - it is fab, easy to use, very portable and perfect size for my Skip Hop nappy changing bag. Must be comfy too as my little girl will happily just sit there. Just one note bear with the legs as they are stiff at first but soon pop in and out of position.

I had the older version and preferred the locking mechanisms on that one. But its the best invention in the world of potty training.

This was such a useful produuct for potty training, have used it a lot whilst out and about!

Very good product for potty training. My son loves to wee on frogs and see them turning yellow. He even prefers it to his home potty.

No success with pooing yet, but it is his overall fear of pooing into a potty...

Very compact, very handy for out and about and vacation.

My little girl loves her new potette, its great as she loves using public toilets rather than using it as a potty. so by using this is much more cleaner as she can hold on to it rather than the toilet seat and i dont have to hold her.

This product has so far proved very useful on trips out including the park and the zoo. Easily portable it fits under the buggy or in a rucksack. Our 2 and 1/2 year old had no qualms about using it. (However I would add that he is very tall so needs to be positioned very accurately or there can be leaks over the side!) All in all we're very glad we bought it.

I have just bought this for my three and a half year old boy and wish I'd got one earlier. It means we can go out and about (park, playground, etc) without worrying about whether there will be a loo nearby or whether I will be able to find somewhere safe to leave baby in pushchair while helping him. Would very much recommend!

Excellent product for a potty training toddler, I have used it loads already. Can't praise this product enough
  • review score 0 Jo on 17 October 2011
Excellent purchase. Portable and hygienic. Tried others and none are as good. The liners are fab and my daughter loves the froggies with brollies. A friend uses sandwich bags with santary pads when her liners ran out! I keep this in the car for those lovely stopping-in-lay-by emergencies and when we stay with the in-laws it is kept by their loo for my daughter to fold out and put over their loo seat.

Brilliant product, My daughter is almost 4yrs and been potty trained for a long time, but i still find this invaluable. Perfect for long journeys, the park, shopping ....etc So compact. Probably the best product I ever bought!!
  • review score 0 Sophie Wilkinson on 10 August 2010
A great help when toilet training, I purchased this over 2 years ago for my first child and it was an absolute godsend. I used it as on toilet seats when we were out and about in shopping centres etc (much easier then trying to balance your child over a toliet!) and we used it as a portable potty if we were at the park or needed an urgent stop at the side of the road. It is quick and easy to use and because it folds down compactly into a little bag its great to pop in the bottom of the pushchair when you're out and about. I am now using it for my second son who has just started toilet training and he likes to use it at home as his permanent toilet seat as well as when we're out and about. I cannot recommend this product enough, if you're anything like me you'll definitely get your monies worth out of it!
