Smart wool coat. Lovely quality, good value in the sale. Pre-Preg size 10 was too big for me, only 16 weeks but shoulders were main issue so had to return. Lovely colour for Autumn winter

Nice warm coat although not sure how it will standd up to windy days.
  • review score 5 Jenny on 09 March 2016
Love the colour and easy to wear. Can even wear after pregnancy over.
  • review score 5 Gemma Stafford on 04 March 2016
I love this coat! It's very comfy to wear and warm too. Looks fab on and friends have commented how lovely it is. Would highly recommend.
  • review score 5 Cheryl on 21 February 2016
I got this in the sale for £20 and I must say it is one of the best bargains I have ever got! I am a size 8 and 7 months pregnant with my second baby and this coat is a perfect fit for over the bump. It sits really well and looks smart. Lovely quality, I highly recommend this item.
  • review score 5 Ali on 09 February 2016
This coat is a perfect for true to size and will definitely accommodate a growing bump!
  • review score 4 Nicola Mitchell on 08 February 2016
Fab coat, bought in size 18 plenty big enough and I am a size 18-20 so pleasantly surprised it was so comfortable.

Only negative could do with a hanging loop added to the collar but a minor issue.

With the addition of an extra popper could easily be used for a non maternity coat in future as well.
  • review score 5 Lucy on 08 February 2016
It's a lovely looking coat and fits great. However, the arms are itching so I can't wear with short sleeves and the fabric is a hair magnet, so although looks nice, I wouldn't recommend

A cute, casual coat. Very warm and fit well throughout pregnancy. However, not very flattering! But not bad for the price.

Lovely coat, good quality; warm and roomy and will see me through my pregnancy. Got it for £20 so a fantastic bargain!
  • review score 4 Abi on 01 February 2016
Lovely coat - nice fabric, lovely satiny lining, feels very cosy. Bought in the sale so feels like I got a bargain at £20. As it is essentially a generously-cut swing coat I am hoping I can wear it as an ordinary non-maternity coat afterwards.
  • review score 5 Lyndsay on 31 January 2016
Great coat - good quality and warm. I usually wear a size 12 but bought a 10 after reading other reviews and my coat fits perfectly.
  • review score 5 Gillian on 14 January 2016
A great, comfy and cosy coat that will take you through pregnancy. Very comfortable
  • review score 4 Anni on 09 January 2016
Nice coat just doesn't look right on a short heavily pregnant woman! That said its well made and a really good price in the sale so well worth it if you need something over the next few months!
  • review score 5 Charlotte on 22 December 2015
Delivery arrived promptly and in good condition. The coat is lovely and good quality, smart enough for work. As others have said, sizing is large, so I went for a size down and it fits perfectly with room for growth.

    65.00 good coat
  • review score 5 Suzie on 09 November 2015
Lovely coat, read other reviews about it coming up big, so ordered my usual size (as normally have to go up a size in coats) still feels a little big, but as I'm only just 16wks should give me plenty of growing space.
  • review score 5 Lara on 06 October 2015
This coat is lovely and just what I wanted. I commute by train so needed something that would keep me warm on the platforms in the chilly winter mornings but still look professional for when I'm visiting client sites AND would continue to accommodate my growing bump right up until maternity leave. This coat definitely fits the bill and was a very reasonable price for the quality and comfort of it!
  • review score 5 Sally Merrett on 02 February 2015
I am really pleased with this coat, arms are nice and long and plenty of room for my bump to grow. I am a size 12-14 usually and the size 12 was a perfect fit. So pleased I invested in a maternity coat rather than making do squeezing unsuccessfully into my normal coat.
  • review score 4 Catherine Holmes on 17 January 2015
Other reviews really helpful, especially sizing. I too chose a size smaller than I'd normally wear & it's still on the large size. Could do with another fastening lower down, it does come open when moving about or in the wind.
Delivery was very slow so order early before you need it.
Gorgeous colour & style though, would definitely recommend. Nice to have a warm coat to keep me & bump cozy & looking smart!
  • review score 5 Tobi on 05 January 2015
Lovely coat and really warm. The reviews helped me with sizing. I'm a size 10. So I bought it in an 8 and it is perfect.
  • review score 5 G.Edwards on 31 December 2014
This is a really lovely coat - perfect for winter. The only point I would make is that it is quite big. My daughter normally wears 10/12 and after reading other reviews I bought a size 8. This fits perfectly and will last throughout the pregnancy. Good value for money.
  • review score 5 Aisling on 15 December 2014
Lovely colour & fit will suit every stage of pregnancy
However would not be suited for extremely cold weather as only ties up at neck
  • review score 5 Katie on 08 December 2014
Great coat - have been wearing everyday for 2 weeks! Sizing is big as other posters mentioned. I got an 8 and still space for a thick padded gillet underneath. I guess it means there is growing room for bump though! Quite wide at neck, but with winter scarves, not a problem. Lovely colour, and one button fastening makes it easy to open coat when in overly hot shops.
  • review score 5 LS59 on 17 September 2014
Great coat, goes well with smart and casual clothes. Intially ordered a size above my normal size to give extra room for winter clothes but didn't need to bother - sizing was already roomy.
  • review score 3 Nadezda on 17 September 2014
Read reviews, and ordered smaller size. Usually i wear 12 size, order 10. But it still big for me. Need 1 or 2 size smaller. As I am not near to a shop, I had to return the coat by post at my own cost.
  • review score 0 S on 10 April 2014
This is a lovely coat, great for winter to spring. I went with other reviewer's advice and bought a smaller size and it fits really well. If you have a big bust, this may not allow for the best fit at a smaller size. The coat arrived in a tight package and was a bit creased but easily steamed out.
  • review score 0 Kate on 21 January 2014
This coat is nice but absolutely massive. I followed the advice from other reviewers and ordered a size smaller but could have done with another one or two sizes smaller. As I am not near to a shop, I had to return the coat by post at my own cost so did not want to order another size in case I had to send that back at my own cost as well.
  • review score 0 Sheena Geraghty on 30 December 2013
Bought this as a Xmas present for my daughter-in-law, who is very petite even with her 'bump'. It looks lovely on - plenty of room, verging on the big side, but still smart. Needed 'steaming' to get crush marks out of it after I'd removed packaging. She loved it though!
  • review score 0 anita on 27 December 2013
A really lovely coat which is warm and has plenty of growing room for your bump.
  • review score 0 Sarah on 18 December 2013
The material of the coat was very nice, and seemed of good quality. I order two sizes - 12 & 14 (normally a size 12) and both were huge. As found with other JoJo products, the fit looked nothing like it did on the super skinny models who model for this company? Don't know why they don't use 'normal' pregnant women in the pictures shown.
It took ages to receive the items, and then i was very disappointed with the returns policy - no free returns, so after i refused to pay the 15 return that the post office told me it would cost, i contacted JoJo, who were extremely slow to respond to me, but eventually used DPD to arrange collection, which cost me 6. Disappointing considering there are very few JoJo shops available to return items to. Very unlikely to order from JoJo again.
  • review score 0 Holly on 17 December 2013
Nice quality coat. Was a size 10 pre pregnancy but after reading other reviews I ordered an 8 and it fitted well. Does make you look more pregnant than you are if your boobs are large! I really like this coat, the colour is nice and I've had several compliments on it.
  • review score 0 Becky on 05 December 2013
I normally wear a size 12 and I would order a size 14 in coats to allow for a jumper underneath. Having read the reviews I ordered a size 12 and it is the right fit, allowing for a thick, warm winter jumper underneath. I am really pleased with the coat. It is a nice thickness which means it'll serve autumn, winter and spring (winter with layers underneath) given the room in the coat it is surprisingly flattering on as it hangs in nice folds. I am 5ft 7 and it comes down onto my thigh, a flattering length and the sleeves are long enough for me as I have quite long arms. I would actually wear this coat non pregnant too, I think it'll be great for breastfeeding as there's room to tuck a baby underneath. A really versatile buy. For my last two children I was ready to burn my maternity clothes at the end if my pregnancy, I think I may just hang onto this coat. Now there's a compliment!

Love the Jacket, however it came very creased, so I have had to take it to a dry cleaners to have steamed to get the crinkles out.

I just received my coat. I am 5'8" size10 pre-pregnancy but reading the reviews, I chose a size8. Very good fit and has plenty of space for growing bump. I am on my 21st week now and showing a lot. The colour is lovely and material doesn't look cheap plus the lining is very soft! It looks a bit unflattering to my stage now so I am undecided about exhanging it with another style from Jojo. Maybe it will look better as my bump gets bigger. I am unsure. I recommend this though, good quality for the price!

Excellent coat, stylish and comfy. Be aware that sizes come up large so always go for your smallest size
  • review score 0 Carol Moore on 04 November 2013
I bought this for my daughter-in-law and she loved it. She said the colour is stunning and the quality very good - amazing for the price. Only problem was that the sizing seems to be on the large side and she is going to try to change it for a smaller size.
  • review score 0 Kathryn on 01 November 2013
I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews that this coat was going to be enormous and tent like. I listened to the reviews though and ordered a size smaller than I was going to and I'm glad I did as it is very roomy to say the least. I generally prefer coats slightly more tailored but the colour is lovely and the quality is excellent for the price. I find it looks better unbuttoned but that's just my own preference. Nice and warm and plenty of room for bump growth!
  • review score 0 Nicola F on 22 October 2013
Brilliant coat and great value. I expected the material to be a bit scratchy as I've found with other non-maternity similarly-priced coats. The outer material is soft and warm and the lining is silky soft. Feels gorgeous to wear. Great fit too with plenty of room for warm layers underneath. Would definitely recommend.
  • review score 0 Caroline on 19 August 2013
Very large sizes. Huge amount of room to grow, but not the most flattering coat I have had. Nice colour for the winter though.
  • review score 0 Sarah on 02 July 2013
I have worn this coat thrice and so far 3 buttons have fallen off, so I'm now out in the rain without a coat. Customer Service have advised me to either return it by post or make a 40 mile round trip to do so. I won't be shopping here again.

Got this coat in early January for my wife and she absolutely loves it she is tall with broad shoulders and this fit perfectly and has plenty of grow space for the bump.

  • review score 0 Sarah on 30 January 2013
Very nice, but definitely baggy in my normal size - I'd go a size smaller.
  • review score 0 Snoof on 28 January 2013
Lovely warm coat, but as others have said it is huge. Still, good in this weather for fitting a warm knot underneath. I am a size 8 so couldn't go for a smaller size, hopefully will grow into it. Great price in the sale!
  • review score 0 Joanna on 19 January 2013
Lovely and very flattering coat, but at the same time made of high quality, thick material so keeps me warm(even now when temperature is well below zero!) Got size 8 but it has plenty of room for my growing bump. Very pleased with my purchase.
  • review score 0 Michelle on 12 January 2013
Just got this coat formy birthday and its beautiful!! Am a 10 but got an 8 as hubby read reviews and I still have plenty of room. Am 19 weeks pregnant with 3rd so fairly big I think, and this coat has plenty of room to grow. Will also be able to use sling underneath next winter.
  • review score 0 Patti on 10 January 2013
I had my eye on this coat since it first came out and was delighted to find it reduced. Based on all the other reviews regarding the generous sizing I decided to pop into my local store to try out sizes. I m 5 foot 2, a small 14 sometimes 12 and usually wear Jojo size M and my previous Jojo maternity coat is a 14 but I decided to try on a 12 and it was very baggy and shapeless on me so decided to try a 10. I m currently 21wks pregnant baby due in May so in theory I don't really need this coat to see me through till 40wks so could possibly even get away with an 8 but decided to stick with the 10 as it will allow for thick layers underneath especially with the cold weather forecasted for next week or so. Coat is very warm the colour is lovely and at the reduced price it is an absolute bargain :)
  • review score 0 Jenni on 10 January 2013
The lining feels luxurious when you put it on and the coat is a lovely colour and nice feel. If you wear it walking into the wind then you may need to use a hand to keep it shut (the only fastener is at the top) but I'm very pleased with it.
  • review score 0 Carol Hall on 01 January 2013
I bought this coat for my daughter who is 4 months pregnant and couldn't do up her normal coat any more. The colour is a beautiful rich purple and the shape just perfect, flattering for a small bump but with plenty of room for growth. A stylish coat with a very reasonable price tag.
  • review score 0 Unknown on 01 January 2013
Great coat. Definitely get a size smaller than your normal size. If you are petite the sleeves will need to be shortened. You will have plenty of room for the bump to grow. I love it.

  • review score 0 C Elliot on 29 December 2012
Tried many different coats from Various sites and this was the best. Lined and warm and nuce quality - and doesn't feel too frumpy!

Did find sizes really coming up large so actually ended up with an 8 when am normally a 12, sometimes 10, in non maternity.

Happy with the purchase and recommend.
  • review score 0 Jane on 28 December 2012
Finally received and well worth the wait! Lovely fit and style, looked equally at home for a night at the opera or a walk in the woods too. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered on the small size (size 8, usually an 8-10) and it fits perfectly with plenty of room for bean to grow.
  • review score 0 Alison on 27 December 2012
Coat is great, good quality for price, even better with any current offer. I am 5ft 2in and this coat fits fine on the shoulders. I had to wait 8 weeks for this coat as it was out of stock when I ordered. It was freezing wearing non maternity coats open with scarves. The moment this coat arrived the weather turned mild! I am normally a petite dress size 10/12 but at 30 wks this maternity 10 will have enough scope to take me through to 40wks. Due at the beginning of March 2013. If I needed a warm coat for just the first and second trimester I would have tried the size 8, as other reviewers have said before me there is plenty of fabric in the swing! Consider how your 40 wks coincide with the colder months and go down a size if you don't need a coat in your third trimester.
  • review score 0 Helen on 20 December 2012
Lovely coat - beautiful colour, excellent quality, very good value for money. It does come up large, though - I originally ordered it in a size 10, but when I tried it on I looked like a child playing dress-up! So I re-ordered in a size 8 and it is still quite generously sized, but will cover up both baby bump and bulky jumpers, so I'm very pleased with the purchase.

bought this coat for my pregnant daughter for xmas. was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. excellent value and she really likes the style.
  • review score 0 Rachel Macefield on 22 November 2012
Coat is lovely, plenty of room to grow into and also big enough to get big jumpers under too. I am getting the sleeves shortened, as ordered a size 18 (long wait on size 16, and need a winter coat now as unable to fit into anything else) but I do have petite length arms for a 5 4" person!
  • review score 0 Alison Makin on 13 November 2012
Nice coat, but rather amply sized. I tried a 12 and then a 10 and both of them were really big around the neck and across the front.
  • review score 0 Sian Roberts on 10 November 2012
Beautiful deep purple colour. I ordered my usual size and at 12 weeks it fits with plenty of room for baby and I to grow. Will be perfect for Dec/Jan/Feb when deepest darkest winter sets in. I love it
  • review score 0 Laura Farmer on 25 October 2012
Lovely coat, great material, style and warm. I got this coat in size 12 but it was too big. I was gutted that there was no size 10 left for 7 weeks so just returned the coat for a refund. I'm 5ft1in so maybe size 12 would be fine for someone taller.
  • review score 0 samantha on 16 October 2012
Beautiful coat. Warm, soft and practical. Covers bump perfectly with room for growth. I plan to wear this after too, as it looks ideal for carrying baby in a sling and still be able to wear a coat I could wrap around my bundle. I would definitely recommend this.
  • review score 0 roo on 15 October 2012
Spent ages looking for a winter coat and then found this lovely coat! Ordered a size 12 but would have been ok with a 10. however fitted lovely. beautiful colour and nice and warm. would recommend to anyone with a winter bump.
  • review score 0 rebekah crouch on 10 October 2012
I really love this coat, lovely colour and stylish, can wear with anything and will keep me warm in the winter, size wise very roomy so pre pregnancy size definately the one to order, this will see me through the entire pregnancy. Many coats i looked at were either ugly, too thin and not suitable for the really cold months or wouldn't see you through the whole pregnancy becuase of bad and unpractical cuts. This coat was the opposite...perfect

I'm six months pregnant with twins and find this a warm, snug coat with plenty of room for bump growth. It is suitable for smart and casual occasions. Had to return normal size to get a smaller one as it was too big on the shoulders - definitely order a smaller size for you.
  • review score 0 Elizabeth on 13 September 2012
This is a very nice coat and seems well made. Smart enough for work but looks ok with jeans too. There's plenty room for bump. I'm 6 months pregnant and the coat still looks a bit big, not sure how well it would fit earlier in pregnancy.
