I am sure this will come in useful once I have lost enough wait to squeeze into it! Highly recommend buying atleast one size bigger than your normal size!
  • review score 4 payorks on 19 June 2015
This top fits well and supports my post-baby belly. It does, however (& unfortunately) seem to minimise my bust too. It washes well and doesn't rise up. Overall, a good buy.
  • review score 5 Victoria Jackson on 17 June 2015
Absolutely fantastic, very comfortable and quickly helped increased my confidence in with my post baby body!
  • review score 1 Cathy on 10 June 2015
I was recommended this top by a friend who thought it was fantastic. Unfortunately for me it hasn't been so successful. When I first put it on it seemed to fit well but within a few minutes of wearing and moving around it had ridden up to around my middle and was really uncomfortable, not to mention even more unflattering than if I hadn't bothered! Possibly needs to be a longer style.
  • review score 4 Catherine on 02 June 2015
I ordered this vest in a small size-which was perfect for my
waist area where I good support but it came up very small on the bust area. This vest is low cut. The colour is a brilliant white and it washes well. It is very comfortable to wear and very easy to use when breastfeeding. However if buying again for postnatal support I would opt for the Jo Jo Maman bebe leggings rather than this vest.

  • review score 5 Caroline on 27 May 2015
This is a great buy, as can start wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes, and still be covered up when feeding socially
  • review score 1 Kirsty on 25 May 2015
Disappointed... Yes it helps to support your stomach and back, BUT you spend a lot of time pulling it back down again, especially if you sit down! It may be better on shorter people. Also NO support for boobs at all... strap are ridiculously thin and end up cutting into you, also the clips are incredibly flimsy and twist... Again this may not be a problem if you are small breasted... Not great for feeding in at all... I would not recommend this unless you are quite small anyway, in which case you probably don't need it.... For someone who's about a size 8-10, no bigger than a c cup and looking for tummy support post c-section, it probably works!

  • review score 5 pinar on 14 May 2015
These are very nice and do the job. They are snug and keep everything in place.
  • review score 1 Cherri on 14 May 2015
Very small and not great support on the bust.
  • review score 5 Alice on 02 May 2015
I ordered a bigger size than my normal as suggested (size 12) but it was way too big so exchanged for the 10. The quality of the fabric is good and they're lovely and soft. But the straps and clips are a bit flimsy as other posters mentioned and the fabric rides up. These are nice for night time to make a change from wearing a nursing bra all the time but I wouldn't wear them out of the house.
  • review score 3 Nicola on 07 April 2015
Came up very small in size
  • review score 5 Becky on 01 April 2015
Small fit isn't as tight as I expected after reading other reviews but is nice and snugg (I was size 8 prior to pregnancy). A good quality top.
  • review score 5 Ingrida on 31 March 2015
It's supporting and seamless top that does a great job when wearing it even underneath very thin layers. Second buy in a row after having baby no2. Very pleased.
  • review score 4 Unknown on 30 March 2015
Great top..just would like more support in bra area
  • review score 5 Linda on 13 December 2014
Got a black one then came back and got a white one. These just about, only just, cope with my 38E breastfeeding boobs. Despite being tight round the tummy they are comfy, supportive rather than constricting. I am a 14 currently, edging towards a 12; the medium is tricky to get on but definitely the correct size once on. If I need more support I wear one of the lacy night bras over these, work well together.
  • review score 5 Claire on 17 November 2014
Great support around the waist and hips but slightly loose around your boobs, which is perfect when breast feeding. Really c
  • review score 5 Jenny on 14 November 2014
Lovely vest. Used these after having both my children made me feel more confident and comfortable. Great tummy support and breast support, but I have a small chest. I would not do without these.
  • review score 5 Louise on 13 October 2014
Very pleased with the support this top offers. My physio suggested I wore a race back support top to help my bad back but this was not possible when breastfeeding. Then I found this great top and I feel so much better! It is, like others have said a but on the tight side but that helps to squeeze you back into shape. I was a size 8/10 prior to my son. He is now 5 months and I am a 10/12. The medium is perfect and I would highly recommend this top to others.
  • review score 5 Zoe on 03 October 2014
Great quality and very flattering. The tops are pretty tight as other reviewers have commented, but I took this advice and ordered bigger size so I am really pleased with the fit.
  • review score 2 Littlemissfussy on 01 October 2014
Nice idea, poorly executed. The vest part is just fine, but very poor bust support and the nursing clips don't "clip"...they just sort of hook on (which means the pop free now & then). Also poorly attached to the vest...after one wash the clip has come free of the vest - very disappoint
  • review score 5 JM on 15 August 2014
I bought two of these just before I gave birth and following advice from reviewers chose the medium size as I'm a 10 usually though can be a 12 depending on the shop. The medium size was really comfortable and the ribbed top really helped to make my stomach more comfortable - less wobbly when walking! - in the first few days. I did feel that the bust area was too large even when my milk came in (I'm usually a 30DD) and the stomach area didn't feel like it was compressing anything after a few days breastfeeding so I ordered a couple of tops in small. These tops were snug to put on over my shoulders but once on were a much better fit (nicely compressing my stomach without digging in and still plenty of space in the cups for me). I'm still using both sizes as they are really good breastfeeding tops and have enabled me to use lots of pre-pregnancy clothes.

All in all a fabulous buy!

  • review score 5 Janice on 04 July 2014
Fast delivery service. Much better value than similar pre- or post-natal shops. The vests I ordered fitted perfectly (size S = size 8). Great quality. Very happy with my purchase, I'll definitely return!
  • review score 5 ED on 02 July 2014
This support vest is brilliant. I read the previous reviews about difficulty with sizing and so ordered a large and a medium to try. I was a size 12 pre pregnancy but had put on a bit of weight with the baby. I found the medium to provide the best support for my post pregnancy tum. It's tight to get on but once on is really comfortable. Have now bought a 2nd medium sized one as they're so good!
  • review score 5 Jen on 25 June 2014
Super useful top, perfect for layering under normal tops to give you a more streamlined shape, and discreet feeding.
  • review score 5 Charlotte Brown on 30 May 2014
As previous reviewers said, this does come up small. I ordered a large as I am a size 14 and wondered how I would fit in it, but in the event it was fine. It is soft and comfy and definitely smoothes over a post baby tummy. I wore it to a wedding under the purple jojo maternity and nursing dress and it definitely gave me a nicer silhouette and was supportive without being hugely restrictive. The clips are easy to operate one handed and the top of the vest is suitably low cut not to show. The only thing is that it did tend to ride up - perhaps because I am short - so I did keep readjusting it at intervals. Was definitely worth it though as it made me feel much more confident without feeling like everything was being held in too tight! Would definitely recommend.
  • review score 5 Amie Lidbetter on 30 May 2014
I bought two of these (one white, one black) and I love wearing them. My baby is only a week old but already my tummy has gone down considerably so that I'm back in my regular jumpers and tops and they give me confidence in the day. The bra top is also easy to use, more so than a nursing bra, so perfect for these early days.
  • review score 5 Donna on 29 May 2014
Really good support for bust and waist, gave me a lovely shape. I am a 32 FF/G cup and size 8 so found the size small a bit too tight on the bust (but passable). It also rode up from the bottom, however the medium wouldn't have given as good a shape. So its probably best for those with a smaller bust than I.
  • review score 5 Maria on 24 May 2014
I bought this vest for my first baby and I think I lived on it! It is pretty confortable and it is very supportive for the after birth tummy.
  • review score 5 Rachel on 13 May 2014
Small is very tight even though I would usually be a small, I have started with a medium and hope to get into small after a while. Holds everything in well and is nicely low cut for wearing under other low tops. I would say that the pants pull you in more than the vest but its worth having both for variety.
  • review score 5 Liz Barry on 09 May 2014
These look perfect though I can't wear them yet as am still pregnant. This is my third baby and I wish I'd got them with my first 2 to hide my flabby bits when feeding!
  • review score 1 Angela Prentner-Smith on 28 April 2014
Even though I bought in a larger size than other vests, the tummy area was so tight I couldn't get the vest on either over the boobs or stepping into.
  • review score 0 Claire on 22 April 2014
This vest is easy to wear and helps flatten out your stomach, and carrying my baby all day I really appreciate the back support too. It does roll up a bit at the bottom though, which makes it difficult to wear under dresses.
  • review score 0 Louise on 10 April 2014
After reading such good reviews I purchased a vest and am very disappointed. I am normally a size 8/10 and haven't gained much weight during pregnancy & am 2 weeks post natal. I bought a medium vest which is very difficult to get on
  • review score 0 Alice on 01 April 2014
Really like this. It is very snug - I'm a pre-pregnancy size 14, currently more of a 16-18 two weeks after the birth, so the Large was so tight I initially doubted I'd get it on. However, I'm glad I persevered because having had a caesarean, having my tummy tightly held in means I can cough, sneeze and laugh without fear! So, particularly recommended for C section mums.
  • review score 0 Fiona Egan on 23 February 2014
Quite tight fitting (which I know is the point!) around the tummy and a little too snug on the bust - I am a pre-pregnancy size 10 with a 34E bust in my nursing bra and it was great at slimming my tummy but a tiny bit too snug on tender milk-filled breasts.
  • review score 0 Jen on 19 February 2014
Essentially Spanx for pregnant tums, with the advantage of a nursing top. Ideal for wearing under other tops to appear back to normal!
  • review score 0 alice on 18 February 2014
Unfortunately returned my vest. I got large but it was still rather tiny. I'm about a 16 currently so shame a large was so unforgiving.
  • review score 0 T M Brown on 14 January 2014
    Very comfortable
  • review score 0 s on 20 December 2013
The medium was too small and the large was way too big in the bust. They would be great if the sizing was better.
  • review score 0 Laura on 11 December 2013
This vest was a life saver, a real must have!! It made me feel really supported after having my baby with the convenience of easily being able to feed. Also, it means you can lift up your top to feed discretely without your tummy on show. All wobbly bits were concealed as well. I would definitely recommend this item.
  • review score 0 ANDREA MARTINS on 28 November 2013
I haven't used the vest yet. It looks all right, but I am a bit disappointed at the size of the bra, although I bought an M size, in the bra area it looks pretty much as a L.. maybe while breastfeeding I'll have a bit more to fill the "gaps" but I wish it was smaller anyways
  • review score 0 Rosanne on 27 November 2013
Small fit - I got a medium and am usually a size 10. Once on feel really comfortable and supportive post pregnancy
  • review score 0 Rebecca gillatt on 13 November 2013
This is a great vest to wear under another top or cardigan. I wouldn't wear it on its own as it's too like underwear. Also you don't have to wear a bra with it so extra comfy. I agree that you should buy a size bigger though as the tummy control panel is quite tight. But it does the job and holds you in nicely.
  • review score 0 Emma on 23 October 2013
Great vest - good support with easy to open cups. Will be buying another one!
  • review score 0 Eva on 15 October 2013
Fantastic!! One of my best shopping ever! Very confortable vest..
I wear it night and day.. So I bought a white and a black one and I'm going to buy otter 2 more..
Honestly it's helping me to recover my shape after the birth of my little one, plus much more advantages.
  • review score 0 Abi on 19 September 2013
Great tops, but do ride up a lot
  • review score 0 Ailsa on 22 August 2013
This vest is a great idea! I am still pregnant so haven't tried the vest out yet but it looks really nice quality and has convenient clips for breastfeeding.
  • review score 0 Mary Paterson on 23 June 2013
The size came up very small - I ordered two sizes up but it is still tiny!
  • review score 0 Karen Hambleton on 18 June 2013
Excellent quality and value for money, straight forward ordering and quick delivery. What more could you ask for :)
  • review score 0 Abi on 10 May 2013
This vest is amazing. I started wearing it a few days after giving birth to my first child and it helped me come to terms with my post-pregnancy figure. I hadn't realised how weird it would feel once bump turned into my beautiful baby and this top stopped me feeling like my insides were going to fall out! I will be buying this as a practical present for future mums to be
  • review score 0 Frogiddy on 08 May 2013
This vest gently slims you down. It doesn't have as much tummy control as the support pants (which probably bring you down a whole dress size) but it certainly made me feel more confident in my pre-pregnancy clothes. I found the bust support very good (I'm currently a 36F) and the clips work well too although they do feel a little flimsy. I would really recommend this for wearing underneath your normal tops whilst breastfeeding.
  • review score 0 Claire on 06 May 2013
The vests to smooth out your figure but don't drastically change it. I am a 12 to 14 in clothes at the moment but bought the large size due to other reviews and because my breasts are so large. Although I fit into the vest fine it does tend to ride up a lot and would definitely recommend wearing a bra too, I have always done when wearing one of the vests.
  • review score 0 Angie on 21 April 2013
I love these vests! Much more supportive than the mothercare vests, the tummy panel is ribbed and the breast panel is very soft which helps support my D cup boobs really well whilst waiting for milk to come in.. I ordered medium size after reading over reviews and they do seem quite small if you are a little long in the body (I'm 5ft 6, pre baby size 8-10) I am ordering more as I like to wear them so much and prefer it to a separate bra and vest combo. Highly recommend and good value compared to Mothercare ones that dont have the same panelling or are as well designed.
  • review score 0 Sarah on 19 April 2013
Love it.... Pulls the flabby bits in post birth, easy access for breastfeeding and comfy. I did think it was a bit tight to put on but it was fine once on.
  • review score 0 Fiona on 26 March 2013
I am v disappointed with this purchase as I loved wearing the maternity support vests while I was pregnant and bought several. The issues with this vest are that the cup size is too small, the straps are too thin and the claps easily come undone by accident. It does however offer great support across the tummy.
  • review score 0 Vanessa on 06 February 2013
Nice fitting vest, gives the support needed for a busy day or when going for a walk. Long enough to cover my post pregnancy belly.
  • review score 0 Fiona on 29 January 2013
Fantastic vest, really supportive, great quality and works well worn over a maternity bra.
  • review score 0 MummyBeth on 22 January 2013
Great product - have one in black and white and have used for all three baby feeding/post pregnancy tummies!! Would recommend to everyone :)
  • review score 0 angie on 20 January 2013
great vest, i have this in black and white and live in it as it possible for me to continue nursing on most of my non-maternity clothes. nice thick material and it is tight in a good way, really holds everything in and provides great support.
  • review score 0 Jen Daines on 11 January 2013
Very good quality product and although a wriggle to get on, it didn't roll up over my tummy when I moved around like some of these kind of tops do. Thumbs up.
  • review score 0 Emma on 11 January 2013
Beautiful detail, nice fit and very comfortable
  • review score 0 Becky on 20 December 2012
I find this vest tricky to get on and worry the clips might break as they seem a bit flimsy! However, once it's on I feel so much better about my post pregnancy tummy- I feel that it hides the lumps and bumps and gives much needed support. I do wear a bra underneath as the cups do not give enough support.
  • review score 0 Newmommy on 18 December 2012
A fab vest - Im normally size 10 but bought the vest in medium to allow room for my big breastfeeding boobs!
I feel great in the vest and really feel supported, my bad back is much better since wearing the vest! Glad i bought two!!
  • review score 0 Caroline sweryt on 26 November 2012
I thought this would be great for out and about. I bought large after seeing other reviews as I am a size 12 and really struggled to get this on as it is so tight. It also constantly rolls up over the tummy leaving tummy hanging out. Not a good fit I'm afraid.
  • review score 0 Johanna on 26 November 2012
The bottom half of the top is great, good thick fabric which keeps the tummy in and my back felt supported. Unfortunately I found the straps were too narrow and dug into my shoulders, making the vest very uncomfortable. I have returned both vests as a result.
  • review score 0 Julia on 24 November 2012
Brilliant nursing top. Wouldn't say it controls your tummy, but as you squeeze yourself in, you do feel "held", I've not worn nursing tops a tall and use this to cover my modesty when I lift my t-shirt! Also gives me more options for what tops to wear as no loose fabric to worry about. I have G cup breasts and the tops covered well but shouldn't be relied on for support; just wear a nursing bra underneath. My one and only criticism is the clasps are a bit flimsy.
  • review score 0 vikki sanderson on 18 November 2012
i ordered this post support vest and didnt like the material so didnt order another one and also not sure if i got a refund or for the support pants and the dusk to dawn light i canceled the order on

Excellent fit, perfect for breast feeding on the go.
  • review score 0 Janine on 28 August 2012
This is a great post natal top. It works well to keep your tummy in, however the part that goes over your breasts could be bigger. I love it though, gives me confidence after having a 9.2lb baby girl. Will be buying another.
  • review score 0 Cecilia Poulsen on 10 July 2012
Great product, very pleased with it and it nicely holds in post pregnancy tummy!
  • review score 0 Vaya on 21 June 2012
This product is fantastic!I delivered only 2 days ago and had an epidural. It offers great support for the tummy and the back. It helps a lot with back pain after epidural.I highly recommend it!
  • review score 0 Jackie on 14 June 2012
Excellent item, would recommend to a friend.
  • review score 0 Stephanie on 14 June 2012
I bought several of these after my second baby. they are fantastic under clothing and hide the lumps and bumps. My only complaint is that the bust is not supportive enough for my double D breasts and it does not cover enough of my ample 'nursing mother's' bosom! I do wear another bra underneath, which is not ideal, but does the trick.
  • review score 0 Nicola S on 07 May 2012
Great Post Natal vest, holds you in and makes you feel better. Good quality and great for breastfeeding. I bought both black and white and wear them every day. Would highly recommend to breastfeeders.

We are concerned about the report of a rash in the review below and have contacted the customer directly. We have sold this style for several years and it always has great long term feedback from our user groups so we hope it was a one off incident.
  • review score 0 Beata on 28 April 2012
I bought this top in black, size M. It seemed pretty small and was quite tight to put on but my post-pregnancy tummy did look smaller in it. Unfortunately I had to stop wearing it as I had an allergic reaction all over my tummy (red and itchy rash). Will try again in few days time.
  • review score 0 N SHarkey on 23 February 2012
My pre- pregnancy size was 10 therefore ordered size 8-10. Very neat, too tight and uncomfortable to wear.
  • review score 0 Alexandra on 03 February 2012
I bought this hoping that it would hold in my wobbly belly, but the material isn't thick/strong enough to do so; however the fit is quite snug.
  • review score 0 Simone on 27 January 2012
the top does not seem suitable for women who have had c-sections as it pulls/pushes on scar
  • review score 0 JR on 13 December 2011
Excellent vest. Very comfortable, practical and fits nicely. Agree with comment that it rides up, so you need to try to tuck it in to something.
  • review score 0 franklin on 04 October 2011
I found this top to be very soft. and felt nice to be squeezed in a bit so feels nice and supportive. And remind you to pull in your tummy muscles. Only downfall I would say is that it does ride up a bit and i find I had to pull it down quite often. Great to wear while breast feeding, as it covers you totally.
  • review score 0 carrie on 19 May 2011
i brought this to go under dress for my 4 month olds christening. It is brilliant. once you have got it on it holds in my mummy tummy and leaves all of back and hips smooth. Bra part has good support too. im a E cup but ordered the DD and it still fitted nicely. Would reccomend
