    Want to review Doidy Cup?

my breastfed 5month old is refusing bottles when I am out but takes sips from the cup. Very useful

    niki smith , 04/07/2017

I like the idea of the cup and my son can drink from it (8m) so the idea works but he normally soaks himself by throwing it upside down.

    Caoimhe Caoimhe , 26/06/2017

My baby refuses to drink breastmilk from a bottle but will take sips from this cup (though he does still need assistance in holding it currently due to his age).

    Deborah Gajewski , 13/06/2017

Great little cup, my baby (6m) refuses ALL bottles, but was able to sip from the edge of the doidy cup. She is not precise enough to use it independently as it's quite dainty but with assistance she can take sips!

    Katy Fuller , 28/04/2017

Very good product .my baby enjoy drinking in this cup

    Aman Deep , 11/04/2017

My 10 month old daughter refused bottles of all kinds as only wanted to be breastfed, this cup was recommended, she surprisingly drinks well from it. However she will not hold the handles, (they aren't that big) so likes me to pour it in her mouth. When she does hold them she likes to spill it everywhere and shake the cup so we all get wet. It is good but with a splash mat!

    Hannah Barron , 10/04/2017

Started my 5 month old using the doidy cup when we started weaning him and he took to it incredible quickly. It encourages him to hold the cup correctly from the beginning and being able to see the water as he drinks it helps his understanding. I will always use a doidy cup from the beginning.

    Charlotte Bright , 21/02/2017

Bought these for a 9 month old who will not drink from a bottle (still being breastfed) and very surprisingly he will drink from the cup which is great!! It has worked very well have to say and would recommend it to anyone in the same position (just don't leave baby unsupervised with cup or things could get a little wet).

    Ruth , 28/06/2016

My daughter refused to drink from a soppy cup, so in an attempt to get her to drink water, I bought a doidy cup. It has been so great for us as you can very easily poor the water without it spilling everywhere. Good way to introduce a cup also, which is good for mouth development.

    Larissa , 15/06/2016

Excellent cup, would highly recommend. My little boy learned to sip from this cup in no time at all. Great idea!!

    Vicky Criaige , 17/05/2016

Nice little cup. My 7 month old likes it although would be exaggerating to say she has managed to drink more than a few drops of water from it. So far would definitely only use for water.

    Charlotte , 05/05/2016

6month old is slowly learning to drink out of it.

    Rebecca Walton , 04/05/2016

Love this! Brilliant. My baby drinks better from this then a sippy cup! Great design and I can see this really helping babies transition from bottle to cup!

    Layla Chowdhury , 02/05/2016

Great product - low cost. Out of the umpteen different drinking cups I have bought and stored away in a cupboard - finally one my boy seems to get on with!! Expect quite a bit of spillage to start with but it does improve.

    lalewis , 26/04/2016

Super useful. Hopefully will help my baby to learn how to drink out of a cup.

    Rachel , 23/04/2016

My little boy loves his cup, he feels like he's got a normal cup but you don't get as many accidents. Keeps him happy

    Sadie , 14/04/2016

Great first cup, my 5 month old has got the hang of it very quickly and watches the water come towards him so doesn't spill as much as with a regular cup.

    Caroline read , 01/03/2016

Really good cup that has helped my little girl to learn to drink from a cup without spilling it everywhere!

    Katie , 18/01/2016

Bought this for my 5 month old as she refuses a sippy cup. She happily drinks from it

    Sam , 24/12/2015

These cups are a really good idea. Our 15 month old worked out what to do with his new cup straightaway. Fewer spills.

    Lynn , 28/11/2015

Good little cup that I bought for my 22 month old. I am a Dental Nurse currently studying Oral Health Education and I have been advised to advise parents to encourage their children to drink out of a cup/Doidy cup from 6 months, as drinking out of feeder cup (which most parents favour because they don't leak), Because these cups require a constant sucking action rather than normal drinking and therefore encourage constant sipping on demand- this can be detrimental to erupting teeth.

    Jessica Matthews , 08/09/2015

A really useful cup. Helping my toddler learn to drink from an open cup with ease and little spillage. Does the job!

    Sinead , 07/09/2015

    My 20 mointh

    Becky , 30/05/2015

A great little cup! My 7 month old gets so excited when she sees it. Due to the angle of the lip it sits nicely into her mouth, allowing her to slurp away without spilling all over herself. Happy baba, happy mamma.

    Dee , 13/05/2015

A great little cup! My 7 month old gets so excited when she sees it. Due to the angle of the lip it sits nicely into her mouth, allowing her to slurp away without spilling all over herself. Happy baba, happy mamma.

    Dee , 13/05/2015

The doidy cup is a great weaning cup. My little one is drinking from this cup at 6.5 months easily compared to other cups that we have tried. Would recommend.

    Ellen , 06/05/2015

This is a great idea, although my son is 6 months old and still doesn't really get that he is supposed to look into the cup to see the liquid. I think it will really suit him in a couple of months time. The handles are a good size for him and the cup is really sturdy. Whilst drinking from it may not be on the immediate horizon, it certainly does make a very entertaining drum kit when combined with my son's high chair tray...

    Karen , 13/04/2015

This cup is great for my 1 year old. She loves practising drinking from a cup herself and even though she still enjoys throwing her drink around(!), it is definitely helping her get better at drinking from a cup herself.

    Laura , 01/04/2015

Brilliant design for babies learning to drink from a cup. Used with great success between about 6months and 18months, my now 2year old will now drink from a standard open cup pretty well.

    Rachel , 28/02/2015

Great product, speedy delivery as usual. Love jojo benefits maman

    Michelle Gayer , 27/01/2015

We have transistioned straight from breast to cup and this has really helped. Our daughter drinks both milk and water really well, can hold on easily and see what she us drinking. Excellent help during weaning.

    EVS , 21/01/2015

Great my little girl loves it too. Fantastic service from Jojomamanbebe as always

    H Mills , 08/01/2015

Have been using these for a week now and although they are a clever design, my six month old finds it difficult to hold the handles (and finds they get in the way) and by the end of each mealtime we give up and give him a breaker without handles which he can manage more easily

    Sarah , 01/01/2015

What a fantastic product, this was recommended in my weaning class as my 5 month old son has never taken to a bottle. Now he is 6 months old he can hold it himself and with a bit of help is able to take small sips if water without chocking himself. Ideal if your baby can't feed from a bottle and for helping babies to feed themselves.

    Natasha Lea , 31/12/2014

I bought 2 of these for my 6 month old daughter. They are easy to use & she loves drinking from them. I would thoroughly recommend this product.

    MW , 09/12/2014

My 4.5 month old is already getting the hang of drinking from a cup. I'm hoping to bypass bottles altogether!

    Lucy Dennis , 03/09/2014

this has been a fantastic investment my baby couldn't use a cup with a lid but was fine with this and if you hold it up he opens his mouth ready to drink we love it he seems more grown up with it too

    krista duke , 05/07/2014

What. Great simple invention. My 5 month BF baby has taken to this brilliantly. Yes, it's messier than one with a lid but everybody's got to learn someday.

    DrFussi , 28/05/2014

Absolutely brilliant. Wish I had found out about these cups sooner. Baby can have a drink without a mess everywhere and I can see how much she actually drinks.

    Manon Jones , 23/05/2014

This is the first cup my fussy breast fed 10 month old has finally had a drink from! It's great and he seems to naturally know how to use it thanks to its shape. A good intro to an open cup for sure.

Sizing Guide

Maternity Wear

Most of our maternity collection is available in sizes 8 - 18 with some styles starting at size 6. Our maternity clothes are designed to fit your changing shape, so look for your pre-pregnancy size to ensure the perfect fit. Use our sizing guide to check which size will be the most comfortable for you during your pregnancy.

Measuring Guidelines

  • We advise you to buy your pre-pregnant size. Styles have been cut to allow for your changing shape but should fit the following approximate figure measurements. - Please note that garment measurements vary according to the design.
  • Items sized S, M, L are cut in extra stretchy fabric to fit both size groups.
  • Lengths are calculated from under the waistband on skirts, nape of neck to hem on dresses and inside leg on trousers and shorts.
  • Many waistbands are soft, stretchy jersey which can be rolled up over or under the bump.
  • Some waistbands on maternity clothes (where stated) have adjustable button elastic. For comfort and fit, simply adjust the width by moving from one buttonhole to the next as you grow and take in again after the birth.

Maternity and Nursing Bras

Choosing the right bra during your pregnancy can be confusing, which is why you’ll find everything you need to know here. No two women will be exactly the same throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding but the following guidelines will give you an idea of what you will need.

Once the milk comes in, the cup size will increase by at least one size, so nursing bras purchased before the birth should allow for this.

The rib cage size should reduce back to its pre-pregnant size within a few weeks of the birth – which is why nursing bras have so many back size adjustors. When trying a bra before the birth, ensure that the back is on one of the loosest fittings, to allow you to tighten it as your rib cage retracts after the birth.

The nursing bras that fit before and after the birth will possibly not fit a couple of months later once a breastfeeding pattern has been established. You may need to purchase smaller bras at this stage.

What will I need for pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • 2 maternity bras and 2 nursing bras
  • Or 4 nursing bras (which can be worn during the later stages of pregnancy)
  • 2 sleep bras (unless the style chosen for the above is also suitable for sleep)
  • 2 packs of nursing inserts
  • 1 pregnancy support pillow
  • Mattress protection sheet
  • In preparation for breastfeeding we also recommend that you have a supply of nipple cream. A good lanolin based cream is perfect and is available from all chemists.

Baby and Children's Wear

We would recommend checking your child’s measurements against our sizing guide as we may vary slightly from other brands.

Measuring Guidelines

  • Comfort– we choose to use natural fibers (e.g. cotton or wool) wherever possible and test all fabrics for softness and suitability for delicate newborn and baby skin.
  • Practicality– we know how difficult it is to dress a wriggly little baby and have designed many innovative ways of making this often tricky task much easier – such as wrap over bodies, sleepsuits that open completely flat and wrap over knits.
  • Functionality– we aim to think as a parent & provide functional items. We all know there is no toddler in the world who will not want to splash and even sit in a nice deep puddle, so with this in mind we developed rainwear, which was totally waterproof but also breathable (so the child doesn’t get hot and sweaty). Most rainwear is either shower proof and breathable or waterproof but made of non-breathable PVC. This is just one example out of hundreds of styles where we would not accept a compromise & sought the perfect solution even if, sometimes, it means the items are a little more expensive than less effective versions.
  • Style– dressing your baby or child should be a huge pleasure and we make sure that our designs not only incorporate all of the above practical elements, but are also totally adorable. Even functional clothing like our Polarfleece buntings or our onesies have a real ‘ahhhh’ factor.

Sleeping Bags

We would recommend checking your child’s measurements against our sizing guide as we may vary slightly from other brands.

Sleeping Bag Guide

A sleeping bag prevents your baby from pulling the covers over their head, sliding down under the blankets or kicking off the covers and getting cold.
  • You can cuddle your baby to sleep in their bag, then lay them in their cot without waking and your baby will feel safe and secure wherever they are sleeping.
  • All our sleeping bags are made from 100% Cotton.
