We are proud to be a Member of Better Cotton and are committed to improving cotton farming practices globally with Better Cotton...
Better Cotton’s mission is to help cotton communities survive and thrive, while protecting and restoring the environment. As part of our ongoing sustainability strategy, we’re committed to improving the amount of cotton we source as Better Cotton. Through its implementing partners, Better Cotton trains farmers to use water efficiently, care for soil health and natural habitats, reduce use of the most harmful chemicals and respect workers’ rights and wellbeing We know it isn’t possible to trace Better Cotton to our end products as Better Cotton can be mixed with other types of cotton along the supply chain. It might not sound very straight forward but it’s through this process we are helping Better Cotton farmers stay in demand and supporting good farming practices.
At JoJo we have lots of playful wooden toys and wellies (yes, wellies can be FSC too!) that are popular picks all year round. To ensure our wood, paper and rubber products...
are sourced from well managed forests, in 2021 we became FSC® certified. We began improving our wooden products straight away, and soon after in 2023, we moved our natural rubber wellies over to 100% FSC. Woohoo!
If you see an FSC label on one of our products, it means you can trust the item has been manufactured with materials sourced from responsibly managed forests from around the world. A strict labelling process means that only products we can trace as FSC back to the source can have the FSC® trademark. FSC promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.

In our stores, you'll find our beautiful clothes hanging on wooden hangers, but behind this is a lot of good - there’s no plastic involved, and we don’t throw them away or give them out to customers to help reduce unnecessary waste. For our carrier bags, we opt for FSC certified paper rather than plastic or conventional paper.
