When you hear the word “festival”, you’ll probably think of live music, street food, colourful outfits and quality time outdoors. But festivals are oh-so-much more than that. What about the waft of smoke infused with toasted marshmallows by the campfire? Those slippery sock squeaks as you reach new heights on the bouncy castle? Sparkling sequins in the sunshine mixed with seriously good food. Here at JoJo, we love festival season, could you tell?

Festivals aren’t just for big kids reading this (yes, that’s you!) They’re for little ones as well. Watch the smiles grow on tiny dancers and mini movers and shakers as they bop and wiggle to music. They’re a great excuse to wear matching parent-and-child outfits too. JoJo’s all about days well spent, and we think being at a festival makes for the best days ever.

Festival Clothes

It's that age-old question - what to wear to a festival? It can be tricky to sort a festival outfit for a child that's colourful, comfortable and super cool, That's where JoJo comes in. Sort out little kids' festival clothes with our outfit builder to get them main stage ready.

Fancy Dress Fun

Throw out the rule book and opt for fancy dress! Float into a festival world in fairy dress-up costumes, or encourage kids to dress up as storybook characters: we’ve got everything from Paddington Bear and Peter Rabbit to firefighters and builders. With just a pair of wings, a flower crown and a magic wand, anything can happen.

Festival prep isn’t limited to what you wear. It’s about making sure you’ve got everything you need to stay safe and clean up after rolling around in the grass. So, while you’re getting their outfits ready, it’s a good idea to think about those little extras, too. We’ve all the toiletries, sun protection, and portable potties for any on-the-go needs.

Whether you’re 2 or 102, it’s very very important to stay safe in the sun, so don’t forget to slip, slap, slop on the sunscreen. Rub it to your skin and you’ll have an extra layer of protection. Remember to reapply regularly — every 2 hours — especially after swimming or sweating.

What do you do when the little one needs the potty when you’re out and about? Don’t get caught short. Use a travel potty instead. Founder Susan Wallace aims to support parents and caregivers to promote relaxing environments. Wallace helps with sleep training and potty training.

“Parents can expect an informative workshop based on sleep science and research. Strategies offered will be easy to understand, and easy to replicate in the home environment. The session is family-centred and non-judgemental - so there will be sleep tips for every parenting style.”

Little Folks

Cat Bateman runs nursery rhyme sessions, filled with traditional songs and newer music. There’s lots of puppets too!

The Calm Club aim to bring inclusive, interactive and impactful yoga into children’s lives.

Good mum friends are essential when you have a baby. And if you’re the only mum-to-be in your friendship group, sometimes it's hard to find them. But when you’re part of The Mum Club, you’ll find your tribe.
The Mum Club connects and supports mums in their local area, with 71 clubs across the UK and UAE.
The Mum Club’s exciting events cover everything from informative coffee clubs with leading experts to relaxed brunches, walking clubs, and fitness classes. And they even offer the occasional evening event, when you need an MNO (Mum’s Night Out).
