The JoJo Guide To Outerwear

From light drizzle to heavy downpours, keeping little adventurers warm and dry is a must. JoJo has spent over 30 years creating high-quality kidswear, and now continues to work hard to create outerwear that is designed specifically for exploring the great outdoors. In this handy guide, you’ll find everything you need to know about choosing the perfect kids’ waterproofs and cosy coats to keep your child snug, dry, and ready for any weather.

Taped seams cover up stitching with heat-sealed tape to completely keep water out. Bonded seams skip the holes altogether by fusing fabric layers for a sleek look that is resistant to water.

Our cosy-lined coats are wadded with thick fleece or borg for extra warmth on frosty days, while single jersey linings give a lighter, breathable option that still keeps in heat, but might be a little more suited for active days out.

A great option for babies is a soft, cosy pramsuit — it’s an all-in-one layer that keeps them warm, comfy and protected when you’re out and about. As they grow, you can also choose from our range of baby-sized coats, designed with the same JoJo quality and softness, so even the tiniest explorers stay snug and stylish.

The 10,000mm rating means the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 10,000mm column of water before it starts to leak, which is plenty to keep your little one dry through long days of rain and active outdoor play.
